We’ve got our hands on a first official picture of Hunt for the Wilderpeople, the upcoming comedy movie directed by New Zealand Filmmaker Taika Waititi (who’s set to helm Thor 3 Ragnarok) and starring Julian Dennison, Sam Neill, Rima Te Wiata, Rachel House, and Oscar Kightley:

Plot synopsis:
“Ricky is a defiant young city kid who finds himself on the run with his cantankerous foster uncle in the wild New Zealand bush. A national manhunt ensues, and the two are forced to put aside their differences and work together to survive in this heartwarming adventure comedy.”

Hard to recognize Actor Sam Neil on this picture… I thought it was Actor Christopher Lee (who portayed evil wizard Saruman in the Lord of the Rings movie franchise), lol.

The director and cast of ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’ joke about the treachery they went through while shooting the film, comparing it to the conditions of the shoot. “We’re out in the elements, it was cold, borderline illegal having a twelve-year-old in those elements for so long,” jokes director Taika Waititi of shooting ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Sounds like a role tailor-made for Paul Rudd!

We’ve got our hands on the first official pictures of Manchester by the Sea, the upcoming drama movie written and directed by Kenneth Logan and starring Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams, Lucas Hedges, and Kyle Chandler:

Casey Affleck is quite talented actor and am curious to see the film.

By the way if like me you don’t know where is Manchester-By-the-Sea, well, it’s a small coastal town in Essex County, Massachusetts (At the 2010 census, the town population was 5,136).

The film will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival but has yet to get an official release date.
