Demonic Movie Trailer

Here’s the first official trailer of Demonic, the upcoming horror movie directed by Will Canon and starring Frank Grillo, Maria Bello, Scott Mechlowicz, Cody Horn, Dustin Milligan, Megan Park, Tyson Sullivan, and Aaron Yoo:

DEMONIC

“This supernatural thriller centers on the aftermath of a horrific massacre where five college students were brutally murdered inside an abandoned home. Detective Mark Lewis (Frank Grillo) and psychologist Dr. Elizabeth Klein (Maria Bello) question one of the few survivors, who explains they were amateur ghost hunters seeking out paranormal phenomenon at the abandoned house, which was believed to be haunted.”

The whole thing looks like a rather generic horror movie… But am not one who can resist a few good old jump scares! LoL! And last but not least the film is starring Frank Grillo so am definitely willing to give it a try.

So they injected some sort of anti-death serum to that girl (who was really dead, like brain dead?) hoping to bring her back from the dead. But the girl came back with the devil in tow? Then I guess it’s better to stay dead, or even not to die at all, LoL!

“For the first time ever, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang we know and love from Charles Schulz’s timeless ‘Peanuts’ comic strip will be making their big-screen debut; like they’ve never been seen before in a CG-Animated Feature film in 3D.”

Love the animation style: it’s CG animated but it does respect the spirit of the comic. But I can’t say I’m fond of that annoying pop song…

Good Kill Movie Trailer

Thanks to Voltage Pictures here’s the first official trailer of Good Kill, the upcoming thriller movie written and directed by Andrew Niccol and starring Ethan Hawke:

GOOD KILL

If you never face your enemy how can you face yourself?

Plot:
“A fighter-pilot turned drone-pilot, based in Las Vegas, fights the Taliban by remote control for twelve hours a day, then goes home to the suburbs and feuds with his wife and kids for the other twelve. But the pilot is starting to question the mission. Is he creating more terrorists than he’s killing? Is he fighting a war without end? One soldier’s tale with epic implications.”

Some may think using drones raise ethical issues, but I doubt it really raises new issues: what’s the difference with dropping bombs from an airplane?

Anyway, I’ll give the film a try.

Besides Ethan Hawke, the cast also includes Bruce Greenwood, Jake Abel, January Jones, and Zoe Kravitz.

Still no official release date.
