Thanks to CBS Films we may watch the first official trailer of The Duff, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Ari Sandel and starring Mae Whitman, Robbie Amell (yep, the handsome young man from “The Tomorrow People”), Bella Thorne, Allison Janney, Ken Jeong, Skyler Samuels, Bianca Santos, and Nick Eversman:

Plot:
“Bianca (Mae Whitman) is a content high school senior whose world is shattered when she learns the student body knows her as ‘The DUFF’ (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier, more popular friends (Skyler Samuels & Bianca Santos). Now, despite the words of caution from her favorite teacher (Ken Jeong), she puts aside the potential distraction of her crush, Toby (Nick Eversman), and enlists Wesley (Robbie Amell), a slick but charming jock, to help reinvent herself. To save her senior year from turning into a total disaster, Bianca must find the confidence to overthrow the school’s ruthless label maker Madison (Bella Thorne) and remind everyone that no matter what people look or act like, we are all someone’s DUFF.”

Julianne Moore is a damn sexy witch, isn’t she? Why would you fight against her? Join her and rule over the world and the darkness!

The film is directed by Sergei Bodrov. And besides Jeff Bridges and Ben Barnes, the cast also includes Julianne Moore, Kit Harington, Alicia Vikander, Djimon Hounsou, Antje Traue, Olivia Williams, and Jason Scott Lee.

In theaters: February 6, 2015.

New pictures of Peanuts, the upcoming animated movie adaptation of the popular comic strip, have surfaced online, take a look below:

Plot:
“For the first time ever, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang we know and love from Charles Schulz’s timeless ‘Peanuts’ comic strip will be making their big-screen debut; like they’ve never been seen before in a CG-Animated Feature film in 3D.”

The film was developed by Blue Sky Studios who brought us the Ice Age franchise. So there’s hope for this film adaptation to be at least as awesome as its source material!

The film is directed by Steve Martino. It will open in theaters on November 6, 2015.
