The Gambler Movie Trailer

Let’s watch the first official trailer of The Gambler, the upcoming crime drama thriller movie remake directed by Rupert Wyatt and starring Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Lange, and Brie Larson:

THE GAMBLER
Plot:
“im Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) is a risk taker. Both an English professor and a high-stakes gambler, Bennett bets it all when he borrows from a gangster (Michael Kenneth Williams) and offers his own life as collateral. Always one step ahead, Bennett pits his creditor against the operator of a gambling ring (Alvin Ing) and leaves his dysfunctional relationship with his wealthy mother (Jessica Lange) in his wake. He plays both sides, immersing himself in an illicit, underground world while garnering the attention of Frank (John Goodman), a loan shark with a paternal interest in Bennett’s future. As his relationship with a student (Brie Larson) deepens, Bennett must take the ultimate risk for a second chance…”

Well, The Gambler does look like a solid thriller movie. And I do want to see Mark Wahlberg’s performance, but am even more impatient to see John Goodman’s performance as a loan shark!

Anyway, here’s the film poster:

In The Heart of The Sea Movie Trailer

Thanks to Warner Bros you may watch below the first official trailer of In The Heart of The Sea, the upcoming drama movie directed by Ron Howard and starring Chris Hemsworth:

IN THE HEART OF THE SEA

In August of 1819 an expedition began that would go beyond the known world.

What 21 men encountered would become one of the greatest true stories ever told.

Plot:
“In the winter of 1820, the New England whaling ship Essex was assaulted by something no one could believe: a whale of mammoth size and will, and an almost human sense of vengeance. The real-life maritime disaster would inspire Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick. But that told only half the story.
‘In the Heart of the Sea’ reveals the encounter’s harrowing aftermath, as the ship’s surviving crew is pushed to their limits and forced to do the unthinkable to stay alive. Braving storms, starvation, panic and despair, the men will call into question their deepest beliefs, from the value of their lives to the morality of their trade, as their captain searches for direction on the open sea and his first mate still seeks to bring the great whale down.”

The action-packed trailer of In The Heart of The Sea is the most exciting trailer I’ve seen in a while. I didn’t expect much from this film, but it’s now high up on my radar! Can’t wait to see the whole thing!

There’s also a beautiful banner poster:
