The Keeping Room Movie Clip

I’ve just spotted this first preview clip of The Keeping Room, the upcoming drama movie directed by Daniel Barber from a script by Julia Hart:

The Keeping Room – I can’t keep my eyes on her all the time.
Plot:
“Left without men in the dying days of the American Civil War, three Southern women – two sisters (Brit Marling and Hailee Steinfeld) and one African-American slave (Muna Otaru) – must fight to defend their home and themselves from a marauding pair of break-away Union soldiers (Sam Worthington of Avatar, Kyle Soller of Anna Karenina). Pushed far beyond any boundaries they could have imagined, they must learn to trust in the only things they still have – raw instincts, newfound moral courage and one another — to find their own way to survive.”

Love the realism of this scene! The Keeping Room is on my radar, can’t wait to see the whole film!

Clip of Tusk starring Justin Long

We’ve got our hands on a preview clip of Tusk, the upcoming horror movie directed by Kevin Smith and starring Justin Long:

Tusk – I don’t want to die in Canada.
Plot:
“Wallace (Justin Long) co-hosts a popular podcast with his pal Teddy (Haley Joel Osment), focusing on cruel, mocking cringe humour as part of their mission to keep it ‘real and raunchy’. After his trip to Winnipeg to interview the ‘Kill Bill Kid’ — a teen whose unfortunate samurai-sword video has gone viral — comes up empty, Wallace decides to make the trip worth his while and find a good story north of the forty-ninth parallel. A handwritten flyer he finds in a bar bathroom leads him to a grizzled old swab (Michael Parks) full of tall tales to share from his life of adventure at sea — and this is where Wallace’s voyage to the Great White North descends into straight-up madness.”

Come on it ain’t that bad in Canada! At times it can be damn cold, for sure… but when it’s that cold all you have to do is just to eat maple taffy to remember what a heartwarming country Canada is.
