Plot synopsis:
“Josie (Alia Shawkat) is a young woman struggling to cope with the tragic death of her boyfriend. In the aftermath of his death, she finds herself both repelled and attracted to his pianist mother, Meredith (Janet McTeer), who holds Josie responsible for her son’s passing. The two women are drawn into a twisted relationship raging with equal parts distrust and blind need as they become consumed with each other while trying to navigate life without the one they love.”
