Director Rob Zombie is back for Halloween2, a movie sequel to his remake of Halloween. The new film will take place directly after the end of his remake. But this time it will focus on Laurie Strode, the sister the crazy and evil Michael Myers hunted.
Here below a teaser poster of Halloween 2, aka H2:
The movie Halloween 2 will hit theaters on August 28, 2009.

Oh no. You mean it’s not going to have Micheal at all?? That will just make it another serial killer drama! I don’t know, I hope I’m wrong.
Oh, you sure, because, damn that would suck. I don’t even care if the story’s totally different, but, Michael’s got to be there. I’ll check it out.
Ok, I checked and, thank God, he is in it. I wonder what they’re going to do with this one?
YUCK, I LOVE the Halloween series, well most of them anyway. But I hate what Rob has done to Halloween. A bunch of old cliches and tired stereotypes. Michael was better before Rob got a hold of him.
how can you hate what rob zombie has done to the halloween series. the guy brought fresh life to the series and made it is own.. back to realism, hes made michael hardcore again, not the trash that came after halloween 1. but saying that, how can i argue with someone who loves ressurection like you probably do…you stick to them films
I’m not sure how anyone can ‘love’ the Halloween series, I mean, after the third one, they became complete dreck. I suppose those that those who didn’t like Rob’s vision would have rather seen Halloween 9 take place in space or something equally as lame as the previous sequels. What else could they have done besides continue the ridiculous ‘Thorn’ arc? I love the original, that is why I hate the sequels, because they are desperate imitations based soley on making a buck. Go watch 5 through 8 and just try and prove me wrong. Zombie’s was an entertaining and refreshing take on Micheal. At least he didn’t see fit to cast 50 Cent or Kanye West. I shudder at the Halloween series, it just sucks.
exactly johnny, about time someone like me stood up to those geeks you like the garbage Halloween sequels. . like you say johnny, let’s have Michael in space with a silver mask in the year 5010 lol Rob Zombie, you are legend, keep doing what you are doing and thank you for making Halloween Halloween again!!
Definitely, Will! As fans, It is actually our duty to speak up when we feel cheated and that’s what so many of the genre sequels do when they become nothing more than cash cows for the major studios. It is necessary to inject new blood into these legendary horror icons when the sequels are so painfully repetitive and disappointing! I was completely satisfied with Rob’s vision and look forward to this August with the utmost anticipation knowing that we won’t have Halloween 5010 and a cryogenically preserved Myers Super Soldier!!
Been honest, I can’t wait for this movie to come out, I’ve seen clips, pics and other stuff and it looks awesome. The thing about a rob zombie film is he keeps it real… you watch it and its really gritty especially devils rejects, and I’m glad he brought that formula to Halloween and this time for the sequel hes gone all out with his own vision, I think I’m going to be disturbed seeing this but that’s all the point in going to see a horror film, and I’m looking forward to it even more because I know it’s been made by a talented film maker who loves the genre. I know I’m not going to walk out of the cinema thinking I’ve watched resurrection. I just wish it was out this Friday!
I can’t wait for this movie. I just hope they don’t screw up this. At least it’s about Michael. Without Michael, it’s just not Halloween.
Zombie again? remake part 2? did he not f*ck up the first film by remaking? i mean doesn’t all of his movies suck? name one film by him that has truly 3 star rating please! you remake 2 films that are not even created by you is very lame. just can’t be original and come with your own ideas. just remake the whole damn series! guess my halloween years are over. went from classic to bullshit. i mean lets face facts! his remake did not come close to carpenter’s! at all! coming from a true halloween fan! i was disgusted by it. the directing was shitty and the cast were just terrible. the hippy rock star shit clearly ruins the motive. he base his characters too much on him. siskel and ebert would 2 thumbs down. literally!! all of you who constantly give zombie credit need to find some f*cking taste in good horror movies. even michael bay’s remake of friday the 13th destroyed halloween’s remake.
