Actor Jason Statham got the lead role in Safe, an upcoming action thriller movie written and directed by Boaz Yakin. Here below the first official pictures:
“A former elite agent (Jason Statham) encounters and rescues a twelve year-old Chinese girl (Catherine Chan) who’s been abducted by the Triads. Armed with a safe-cracking combination, they find themselves in the middle of a stand off between Triads, the Russian Mafia and high level corrupt New York City politicians and police.”
Besides Jason Statham the movie Safe is also starring Catherine Chan, Chris Sarandon, James Hong, Robert John Burke, Anson Mount, Reggie Lee, Victor Pagan, Danny Hoch. The film will be released in theaters on October 28, 2011.
