David R. Ellis (who once brought us Snakes On A Plane) has been working on Shark Night 3D, an upcoming thriller horror movie touted as touted as ‘Jaw for the 3D generation’. The film is starring Sara Paxton, Alyssa Diaz, Dustin Milligan, Chris Carmack, Katharine McPhee, Sinqua Walls, Christine Quinn, with Thalles Fernando and Joel Moore. The film will be released in theaters on September 2, 2011.

“The story revolves around seven male and female college friends who spend a weekend at a lake house in Louisiana’s Gulf area. When their vacation quickly becomes a nightmare of hellish shark attacks, unheard of in freshwater lakes, they soon discover that the sharks are part of a sick, greedy plan on the part of several locals.”
How did the girl end up in that cage? Anyway, she’d better take her time before getting out of the cage, because that shark is hungry!
