We may have a look to the first official pictures of Transformers 2, aka Transformers Revenge Thanks to USA Today and to Empire Magazine. Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox are both back in Transformers 2:

Good-guy Autobot Optimus Prime, This time, Optimus teams up with the U.S. military to take on the evil Decepticons, who have invaded Earth to capture Sam (Shia LaBeouf). LaBeouf is again teamed with Megan Fox as Mikaela, who also knows the secrets of the heroic Autobots. For much of the climactic battle scene, New Mexico stood in for Egypt. But the cast and crew were able to shoot some scenes in Giza at the actual pyramids, getting first-time access to the 5,000-year-old site from the Egyptian government. - Transformers 2 Michael Bay (in white shirt) returns to direct the sequel and is aiming his camera at John Turturro, who is back as Agent Simmons. Also returning are Josh Duhamel as Army Ranger Capt. Lennox and Tyrese Gibson as Air Force Master Sgt. Thanks to USA Today (here) we know a bit more about the plot of Transformers 2:

This time, the story finds Sam and Mikaela under attack by the evil Decepticons because of something Sam has learned about the origins of the Transformers and their ancient history on Earth.
To acquire this knowledge, the invading Decepticons need to capture Sam instead of kill him. Meanwhile, the U.S. military and an international coalition has united with the good-guy Autobots to fight back the villains’ attack.

Some of the most important newcomers are in the robot cast: Decepticons Soundwave, a fearsome communications expert, and Devastator, whose arms and legs are built out of other Transformers. And on the Autobots’ side is Jetfire, a villain whose age and broken-down physicality leads him to help the Autobots.

Those details remind of the Transformers 2 screenplay that leaked online a while ago (and I confirm it was a legit early script of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen)…

Transformers 2 is one the most awaited movie of 2009, there is no doubt it is going to be a blockbuster: those pictures and the details about the plot are strong indicators that the movie is going to be awesome.

That’s a good sign for Transformers 3: quite sure now that Director Michael and Shia Labeouf will team up again to deliver a third transformers movie!

    This movie is going to rock our world. Sam and Mikaela better have had sex after 2 years of dating!
