This new featurette of The BFG, the upcoming fantasy adventure movie from Disney, is all about Actor Mark Rylance who was cast as the Big Friendly Giant:

“A girl named Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) encounters the Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance) who, despite his intimidating appearance, turns out to be a kindhearted soul who is considered an outcast by the other giants because unlike his peers refuses to eat boys and girls.”
Director Steven Spielberg and his crew “animated the Big Friendly Giant based on Mark Rylance’s performance”. So basically they used motion capture right? Why don’t they show it in the featurette?
The film will be released on July 1, 2016
