We’ve got our hands on the first official pictures of The Catcher Was a Spy, the upcoming biography war drama movie directed by Ben Lewin from a script by Robert Rodat based on the novel by Nicholas Dawidoff:

Plot synopsis:
“The true story of Moe Berg (Paul Rudd) – professional baseball player, Ivy League graduate, attorney who spoke nine languages – and a top-secret spy for the OSS who helped the U.S. win the race against Germany to build the atomic bomb.”

Well, Paul Rudd does make for a handsome spy!

The cast includes Paul Rudd, Mark Strong, Sienna Miller, Jeff Daniels, Guy Pearce, and Paul Giamatti.

The film has yet to get an official release date.
