We spotted a first official picture of Actor Benedict Cumberbatch as Thomas Edison in The Current War, the upcoming biography drama movie directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon based on a script by Michael Mitnick:
“Electricity titans Thomas Edison (Benedict Cumberbatch) and George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon) compete to create a sustainable system and market it to the American people.”
Besides Benedict Cumberbatch, the cast also includes Michael Shannon, Katherine Waterston, Tom Holland, Matthew Macfadyen, Tuppence Middleton, and Nicholas Hoult.
