Here’s a first official look at Steve Coogan and Laura Linney in The Dinner, the upcoming drama mystery thriller movie written and directed by Oren Moverman based on the novel by Herman Koch:
“Paul (Steve Coogan) and Claire (Laura Linney) are preparing for a dinner with Paul’s brother Stan (Richard Gere) and his wife Barbara (Rebecca Hall). However, conflict is rife due to the fact that the brothers live such conflicting lifestyles: while Stan is a charming, charismatic politician, Paul is currently unemployed. However all this is put aside when, at the dinner, it emerges that Paul and Claire’s children have committed a terrible crime, and the two couples are divided on how best to deal with it.”
Besides Steve Coogan and Laura Linney, the film is also starring Richard Gere, Rebecca Hall, Chloe Sevigny, and Adepero Oduye.
The release date of the movie The Dinner is set to May 5, 2017.
