We’ve got our hands on the first movie trailer of The Eagle, the upcoming sword-and-sandal movie directed by Kevin Macdonald and starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Donald Sutherland, and Mark Strong:

The film is based on Rosemary Sutcliff’s novel, The Eagle of the Ninth. The release date of the Eagle is set for February 25, 2011.
