We’ve got our hands on the first official trailer of The Little Mermaid, the upcoming fantasy movie directed by Chris Bouchard and Blake Harris from a script by Blake Harris inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale and starring Loreto Peralta, William Moseley, Poppy Drayton, Shirley MacLaine, Gina Gershon, and Armando Gutierrez:
THE LITTLE MERMAID
A mystery. And adventure that doesn’t stop at the ocean’s edge.
“The film follows a young girl (Loreto Peralta) and her reporter brother (William Moseley) as they travel to a small Mississippi town to meet a woman believed to be a mermaid of legend (Poppy Drayton).”
This new take on the Little Mermaid is rather cute. Definitely a movie to enjoy with one’s family and kids!
The film has yet to get an official release date, sometime in Summer 2017.
