We’ve got our hands on the first official pictures of The Phenom, the upcoming sports drama movie written and directed by Noah Buschel and starring Johnny Simmons, Paul Giamatti, Ethan Hawke, Paul Adelstein, Elizabeth Marvel, Marin Ireland, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Louisa Krause, and John Ventimiglia:
“When major-league rookie pitcher Hopper Gibson (Johnny Simmons) chokes on the mound, he’s sidelined to the minor leagues and prescribed sessions with an unorthodox sports psychologist (Paul Giamatti). In the process, long-dormant conflicts with his overbearing father (Ethan Hawke) are brought to light.”
