“A talented young musician (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) on the brink of super stardom struggles with the pressure of her new-found success. She meets Kaz Nicol (Nate Parker), a promising young cop and aspiring politician who’s been assigned to her detail. Drawn to each other, Noni and Kaz fall fast and hard, despite the protests of those around them to put their career ambitions ahead of their romance. Am not impressed with her singing, but I must admit I kind of dig her violet hair! And you?
The film will hit theaters on November 14, 2014.
