Trailer of Hidden Figures the movie about black women at NASA

Hidden Figures movie - Black women at NASAThere’s a brand new trailer for Hidden Figures, the upcoming biography drama movie that focuses on the black women behind NASA’s space race:

HIDDEN FIGURES
Plot synopsis:
“The incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) — brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.”

Want to live in a better world? Leave the streets, and study and work hard. Those women totally rule! I so wish the rioters I saw on TV would follow them in their footsteps instead of wreaking havoc in their city… Unfortunately, it’s so much easier to destroy than to create….

The film is directed by Theodore Melfi and starring Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monae, Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Glen Powell, Mahershala Ali, and Aldis Hodge. And it will hit theaters on January 13, 2017.
