Plot:

Thanks to Dealine here’s a first official look at Actor Jake Gyllenhaal as a muscular boxer in Southpaw, the upcoming sports drama movie directed by Antoine Fuqua based on a script by Kurt Sutter:

Plot:
“A boxer fights his way to the top, only to find his life falling apart around him.”

Jake Gyllenhaal really bulked up for the role: he now looks like a mighty bull!

Besides Jake Gyllenhaal, the cast also includes Rachel McAdams, Naomie Harris, Forest Whitaker, Victor Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson and Miguel Gomez.

The film has yet to get an official release date.

There’s a sequel to cult 1982 science-fiction movie Blade Runner ahead of us: production will indeed start sometime in 2015. Ridley Scott (the director of the first film) and Hampton Fancher (who co-wrote the script of the first film) have been working on a script for Blade Runner 2.

A few words from Ridley Scoot:

“Hampton Fancher and I talked at length about what it could be, and came up with a pretty strong three-act storyline, and it all makes sense in terms of how it relates to the first one.

Unfortunately Ridley Scott also said that he won’t be directing the sequel… but he did reveal that Actor Harrison Ford will reprise his role and will show up in the third act of the sequel.

Details of the plot of Pacific Rim 2 have surfaced online. According to the online rumor, the sequel will be set a few years after the events of the first film: it will show us how the world and the Jaeger technology evolved without the immediate threat of the Kaiju.

Charlie Hunnam and Burn Gorman are also said to be returning as Raleigh Becket and Gottlieb respectively.

Glad to hear that those two will be back, but here I hope that Rinko Kikuchi, Ron Perlman , and especially Charlie Day will also reprise their roles.

The sequel to Now You See me is under works. Actor Mark Ruffalo shared this picture via Instagram:

So it looks like the sequel is tentatively titled Now You See Me The Second Act.

Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Michael Caine are reprising their roles. And joining the cast: Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan, Jay Chou, and Sanaa Lathan.

The plot hasn’t been revealed, the crew will be hired by some mysterious foe to work on another amazing heist.

The release date of Now You See Me 2 is set to June 10, 2016.

The film was developed by Blue Sky Studios who brought us the Ice Age franchise. So there’s hope for this film adaptation to be at least as awesome as its source material!

The film is directed by Steve Martino. It will open in theaters on November 6, 2015.

Here’s a first official picture from “Strange Magic”, the upcoming animated film by Lucasfilm (the studios behind Star Wars, it was bought by Disney in 2012):

Plot:
“Strange Magic is said to be a musical fairy tale inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It will feature popular songs from the last 60 years . We may expect a cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps who are all trying to get hold of a magic potion.”

Can’t say am impressed with this picture… The CG doesn’t look that great… But too early to tell. The trailer will give us a better idea of what to expect from LucasFilm new property!

The film is directed by Gary Rydstrom based on a script he co-wrote with David Berenbaum (Elf) and Irene Mecchi. The voice cast includes Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristin Chenoweth, Maya Rudolph, Sam Palladio, Meredeth Anne Bull, Alfred Molina, Elijah Kelley, Bob Einstein, and Peter Stormare.

The release date of Strange Magic is set to January 23, 2015.

Actor Jason Statham is set to reprise his role as Arthur Bishop for a sequel to the 2011 action thriller movie The Mechanic. Director Dennis Gansel is in charge of the project which is titled The Mechanic Resurrection. Here’s the first official plot synopsis:

Plot:
“Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) returns as the Mechanic in the sequel to the 2011 global hit. When someone from his past forces him back into the business, Bishop has to complete an impossible list of assassinations of the most dangerous men in the world.”

Jason Staham is a real action hero! Can’t wait to see the sequel to the Mechanic!

Besides Jason Statham, the cast also includes Jessica Alba, Tommy Lee Jones, and Michelle Yeoh.

We were told Toy Story 3 would be the last installment of the movie franchise. Well forget it, Disney Pixar are now developing Toy Story 4. Yep, that’s right, and I bet you didn’t see that one coming!

John Lasseter who helmed the first two movies will return to direct the new sequel. The story is based on a story created by Lasseter , Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich.

According to the online rumor Toy Story 4 could involve Woody and Buzz Lightyear meeting high-tech toys. But nothing confirmed yet.
