Thanks to MTV here’s a first official look at The Maze Runner, the upcoming science-fiction movie directed by Wes Ball and based on the young-adult novel of the same name by James Dashner:

Terminator 5 Release Date – The first of a new trilogy!

I guess you’ve already heard about the upcoming Terminator 5 movie that’s set to star Arnold Schwarzenegger. Well, we now have an official release date: the film is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2015.

Laeta Kalorgridis (‘Avatar’, ‘Shutter Island’) and Patrick Lussier (‘Drive Angry’) are in charge of the script.

Terminator 5 should be the first of a new trilogy. Unfortunately, it’s not clear yet, if the film is set within the same -twisted- timeline as the previous movies or if the film is a real reboot.

According to the online rumor, this new Terminator movie could be set in the 1950’s, with Skynet and its robots trying to kill Sarah Connor’s parents. Arnold Schwarzenegger would play a human who tries to protect the family from the Terminators.

Well, no need to overspeculate, let’s wait for an official plot.

Resident Evil 6 to start filming this fall, release date pushed back to 2015?

Director Paul W.S. Anderson is currently busy working on Pompeii. But he’s already planning his next movie, Resident Evil 6.

The British film Director revealed to The Toronto Star that Resident Evil 6 will start filming this Fall.

The film was set for a release on September 12, 2014. But it sounds like the release may get delayed. Milla Jovovich, who’s got the lead role as Zombie slayer Alice in the franchise, replied indeed to one of her Twitter followers that Resident Evil 6 will more likely hit theaters on 2015.

Let’s hope the new installment will have more zombies and focus a bit more on Alice.

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie

A movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, the erotic romance novel by British author E. L. James, is under works. Director Sam Taylor-Johnson (who helmed Nowhere Boy) is in charge of the project, Kelly Marcel wrote the screenplay.

Plot:
“Fifty Shades of Grey (first published in 2011) follows the deepening relationship of 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey and college student Anastasia Steele.

The ‘Fifty Shades’ novel trilogy, notable for its explicitly erotic scenes, sold over 70 million copies worldwide in e-book and print. Are they going for a R-Rated movie? Or for a watered-down version?

Anyway, the official release date of the Fifty Shades of grey movie is set for August 1, 2014.

Knight Rider Movie

Do your remember Knight Rider, the 1980’s TV show starring David Hasselhoff? The show was revolving around Michael Knight (played by David Hasselhoff), a high-tech modern crime fighter assisted by an advanced, artificially intelligent and nearly indestructible car called KITT. Well, according to the LA Times there’s a Knight Rider movie ahead of us!

The Weinstein Co., which owns the movie rights, indeed hired Brad Copeland to pen a script for the movie adaptation.

There’s a David Goliath feel, kind of like it! I’ m curious to see if the film will live up to this interesting trailer.

If you’re wondering about the song in this trailer of Tapped, it’s the song “Russian Girls” by BBOSS.

By the way, for those who don’t know: MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts, a full contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, from a variety of other combat sports.

Well, I guess dangerous people are still lurking around because it sounds like there’s going to be yet another installment in the Taken movie franchise. EuropaCorp, Luc Besson’s production company, is indeed pushing for a new sequel.

Liam Neeson previously said that he wasn’t interested in continuing the franchise… But according to the online rumor there’s a $20 million payday for him if he reprises his role as Brian Mills. I guess that’s an offer he can’t refuse. So, yep you can get ready for Taken 3!

“Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson), the former CIA agent with a particular set of skills, will once again have to fight to protect his dear family.”
