A first official plot synopsis of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the upcoming sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, has been revealed:

“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes continues the story of how ultra-intelligent simian Caesar (Andy Serkis) presides over the fall of human civilization. After the apes break out of their facility, a virus breaks out that causes the collapse of human society. The new project is taking the story to the next level, with the apes on the path to emerge as society’s new rulers.”

Want to save mankind from extinction? Support the killing of those evil conspiring monkeys! And shoot them on sight!

Anyway, Director Matt Reeves will helm the sequel. The release date of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is set for May 23, 2014.

Director Michael Bay still wants to keep the lid on the plot of Transformers 4, but did give away a few plot details in a recent interview:

“The movie will continue four years from the Attack on Chicago; which is in the last movie. So it’s going to still have the same lineage. And it’s going a full new direction and feels very natural how it’s going in that direction, there is no way you’re going to ever find out what the story because you don’t have to dig through my trash but I shredded my trash…Pentagon level encryption on our computers. So good luck to ya!”

By the way, the release date of Transformers 4 has been pushed back by a few days to July 4, 2014.

According to the online rumor there’s already a screenwriter working on the script of Star Wars Episode 7: Scriptwriter Michael Arndt, who worked on Little Miss Sunshine and Toy Story 3, is penning a treatment for the new Star Wars movie.

The film is supposed to be a sequel to Star Wars Episode 6 and would bring the Skywalker family to the fore (featuring appearances of Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher as they reprise their respective roles) and introduce a new generation of heroes.

A short plot synopsis of the upcoming Need For Speed movie has shown up online:

“The story follows an underground racecar driver (Aaron Paul) who owns a garage that modifies expensive cars to make them faster for racing. Framed and sent to prison when his best friend is murdered during a race, he seeks revenge upon his release.”

The film is directed by Scott Waugh (who helmedAct of Valor) and based on a script written by George Gatins. Besides Aaron Paul the film is also starring Dominic Cooper (as an ex-NASCAR driver who uses his connections to the wealthy to create a business rebuilding and modifying supercars) and Imogen Poots (as an exotic car dealer who does business with Paul and Cooper).

The release date of Need for Speed is set for February 7, 2014.

Plot Synopsis:

That mechanical suit doesn’t look that handy… But well as long as it does the job of helping to kill those goddamn alien invaders it will be fine!

Haven’t read the novel yet so i don’t what’s the whole time loop is about. Is his mind really locked into a time loop? Or is is he trapped in some kind of super emulator?

Anyway, the release date of All you Need is Kill is set for March 12, 2014.

We are preparing the film with the same passion and commitment as the previous two. We have confirmed Nicolas Cage, a master actor who gives a veneer intellectual group. Hopefully we can realize to Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Mickey Rourke. That is the great mission of the producer. We will continue with the same narrative scheme, the agility and the frenzy, which are inherent to the saga. What will definitely be the last? I can not guarantee. In principle it would be two deliveries, but the affection of the people encouraged us to work on a third. I guess as long as we amused ourselves by offering fun and people, we can continue playing ‘The Expendables’. For now we are not as expendable as it should and as some critics want.

A short plot synopsis of the upcoming Twilight zone movie has leaked online:

Plot:
“The film follows a test pilot who winds up breaking the speed of light; when he puts down his craft, he discovers that he’s landed a bit late for supper – 96 years late.”

According to Einstein’s theory, when you reach relativistic speed it’s like getting in a bubble in which time slows down, but outside your bubble time is supposed to flies as usual. So the plot synopsis of The Twilight Zone movie, with its time travel of a sort, isn’t farfetched, it would actually be based on hard science. But will there there a real fantasy twist beyond this synopsis?

The film is developed by Apian Way, Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company. There’s no director announced yet, and still no official release date.

You’ve probably heard about it by now: Disney bought LucasFilm hence becoming the new owner of the Star Wars franchise. And they’re already planning anew franchise! Star Wars 7 should be released in theaters sometime in 2015.
