Actor Martin Freeman will plays as the Hobbit in the upcoming live action movie adaptation of Tolkien’s book. The film will be directed by Peter Jackson (who previously helmed the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy).
The Hobbit will be split into two movies.

Actor Hugh Jackman confirmed that Director Darren Aronofsky will helm Wolverine 2. He also added that the movie sequel to Wolverine will based on a script by Chris McQuarrie (who wrote The Usual Suspects).Hugh Jackman is currently training to get back in shape, and filming should begin in March.
Wolverine 2 will be set in Japan.

Director John Gulager (who directed Feast) has been hired to helm the movie sequel to Piranha 3D and Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan (the scriptwriters behind the last Saw movies) are in charge of the script.
According to the online buzz the sequel will be titled Piranha 3DD (in celebration the bra size of the actresses, yep) and it should head to Thailand for the Fullmoon party.

USA Today ran a story about Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: it sounds like Fox is looking for a new director. Anyway there’s something more interesting: the newspaper also claims Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 is expected to shoot in a seaside location, possibly Hawaii. Why on a seaside location? Well because the plot allegedly involves the chipmunks getting shipwrecked.
Will Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 fall into Madagascar‘s territory?

This revamp of the comedy-horror classic is directed by Craig Gillespie. The movie Fright Night is set to be released on October 7, 2011.
