Director Rachel Goldenberg has been working on Valley Girl, an upcoming remake of the 1983 movie of the same name. The new film is based on a script by Wayne Crawford, Andrew Lane, Jenny Lumet, and Amy Talkington and is starring Jessica Rothe, Josh Whitehouse, Mae Whitman, Peyton List, Chloe Bennett, Logan Paul, Jessie Ennis, Ashleigh Murray, and Judy Greer:

Plot synopsis:
“The film follows Julie (Jessica Rothe), a sweet-natured San Fernando Valley girl whose world and values are rocked when she falls hard for Randy (Josh Whitehouse), a punk rocker from Hollywood.”
