World War Z Trailer

Plot:
“A researcher for the U.N. Postwar Commission interviews survivors from all over the world in order to put together a post-mortem on a war that destroyed every country around the globe. A war involving nasty flesh eating zombies…”

Word War Z makes for a thrilling read. Glad they’re going to bring this master piece to the big screen. I wonder if they’re going to keep the same structure though: the book is actually collection of individual accounts in the form of interviews of different characters. And along the story we get a better picture of the origins of World War Z and how it changed the world. I’d think it’s too much for just one movie, so I guess they will simplify the whole thing for the film.

They’re eying a Summer 2012 release for the movie World War Z.

A World War Z one part movie sounds like a terrible idea. Should be a premium cable series at minimum. Two hours to summarize a book like this is just a discredit.

Ya sorry fokes. Paramount decided they didn’t like the book so this is their new story:

The movie’s premise is as follows:

“The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity, itself.”

There also seems to be a love story involving Lane getting back to his wife Karin (played by Mireille Enos) and their two children.

    That’s directly from paramount…

Personally, I would love to see a movie that was a bit more acurate to the book, but I can see how that may be difficult to do based on the way the book is written, it would be like one long interview with several peoplecompiled of various flashbacks. It would be “boring” to some viewers and paramont doesn’t want that. THey need something that the general audience would like. After the vampire crap most of the movies based of of books will likely containe some odd romance especially if Pitt is involved. If i’d had directed it, it would be realistic and just as the book reads it…and Pitt, although he is a decent actor, would NOT be involved, due to the interest he brings. I’d recomment actors and actresses that look the part, which is a beaten post war image, not a pretty face.
