A new viral video to promote X-Men Days of Future Past has surfaced online. The video is a faux-commercial celebrating 50 years of Trask Industries, the corporation behind the Sentinels, the mutant-hunting robots that will show up in Bryan Singer’s sequel to X-Men Fist Class:

Trask Industries was founded in 1967 by Bolivar Trask (played by the dwarf Peter Dinklage). Here’s a video showing the man at work in his lab:

The chap is obsessed with mutants and the X-Gene and thinks they’re a threat to base humans:

“The mutant threat is the defining issue of our time. We can choose to stem the impending tide of extinction or we can stand by passively and allow it to wash away any remnants of our species.”
