In the World War II movie Inglourious Basterds Brad Pitt and his team go get some Nazi scalps in enemy territory. Makes me want to play to the old game Wolfenstein 3D!
;-)
Twilight 2, the New Moon movie so many fans are waiting for, finally gets its official title: it will be The Twilight Saga New Moon.
The book was just titled New Moon, but Summit Entertainment wants everyone to be able to make the link with the previous Twilight movie even if they didn’t read Stepehenie Meyer’s novel. Hence this new official title on which both hardcore fans and newcomers will agree I am sure.
Yamcha, played by Joon Park, looks like the character from the Dragonball movie the most faithful to the original manga.
Bu Yamcha won’t compensate for the ugly thing I heard about this DB movie: Master Roshi’s personality has been tamed down… I don’t want Master Roshi to be politically correct: I want him to be a lustful old man hunting pretty young women! For God’s sake this was a major characteristic of Roshi! Fox transformed Roshi into karate Kid’s master… And they’re already thinking about Dragonball 2… Please at least give us a real Roshi in this damn DB Evolution movie!
:)
Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman are partner thieves in The Code, aka Thick as Thieves, an upcoming heist movie:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
Plot:
“A veteran thief recruits a younger crook to help him pull off one final job in order to repay his debt to the Russian mob. Mitchell plays a temptress whose romantic liaison with a thief (Banderas) threatens to come between him and his partner in crime, her godfather (Freeman).”
They should put Radha Mitchell on the poster of the Code: Banderas and Freeman are still good actors, but well, age isn’t flattering them… But Radha Mitchell is still quite pretty!
:)
Sometimes people send scoops and I just miss them because I don’t check my mails regularly enough. I’m not the first to break this news, but glad to see that fellow Transformers fan Nige did send a shot of the new Transformers 2 movie poster to us too. I’ve been able to somewhat correct the angle with my limited skills in Photoshop:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
Nige thought we “might like to take a gander at this”: God knows you were damn right Nige! This movie poster of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is absolutely amazing!
:)
Thanks to Coming Soon we have a second poster of Fast and Furious 4, but I really hope this is not the final poster because it’s rather tame:
Fast and Furious movie poster, but it still isn’t the right one: (Click on the poster to enlarge it).
Ok I see a somewhat sexy car, but where are the sexy girls? Those ghost heads floating above the American Muscle are just lame… Ok Jordana Brewster has a nice smile, Michelle Rodriguez is cute, but that’s not a poster one would put in one’s room!
Maybe some international poster of Fast and Furious will fix this and get closer to the real spirit of Fast and Furious: girls, cars, action and girls!
:)
Comments Off on Dwayne Johnson Race to Witch Mountain
In the upcoming science-fiction movie race To Witch Mountain Dwayne Johnson aka the Rock is as a taxi driver who is going to turn into a nanny for teenage human-like aliens! Here below a new version of the previous movie poster of Race to Witch Mountain:

The Brazilian poster above just play with the colors of the original one:

Why such a change? Maybe Brazilians are more sensitive to blue than to orange? Any idea?
;-P
Master Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat) was missing on earlier version of the group poster of the upcoming DB movie. Well, thanks to photoshop, that’s been fixed on an international Dragonball movie poster:
(Click on a poster to enlarge it.)
You may compare with this earlier Dragonball Evolution poster:

Do you think that Roshi from the movie will be a funny pervert as in the original manga? Such a detail could save this DB movie from Smallvillesque lameness!
:)
I wonder if the guys from the Blue Man Group were inspired by Dr. Manhattan from the Watchmen. Any link?
I doubt my wife would appreciate, but it would be fun to go see Watchmen with a blue-man outfit… I could still bargain with her!
Nope, I’m getting cold feet already… Too bad!
:)
Many are longing for the release of Harry Potter 6, aka Harry potter and The Half Blood Prince. Well it’s not for tomorrow as you know… And WB is heartlessly teasing us again with three new gorgeous movie posters of Harry Potter 6:
(Click on a poster to enlarge it.)
The old Dumbledore is a bit lazy: always relying on the young Harry Potter to save his beard!
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be released on July 17, 2009.

Prepare for a series of new posters and trailers with the opening of the New York Comic Con. Thanks to I09 we may already have a look to a teaser poster of the Surrogates, an upcoming science-fiction movie directed by Jonathan Mostow and starring Bruce Willis:
Surrogates is set in a world in which humans live in isolation, interacting though surrogates, remote-controlled artificial bodies. A cop (Bruce Willis) investigates a series of surrogates murders. It forces him to bring his human form out of isolation, and doing so he will be able to unravel a conspiracy behind the crimes.
You may work on your own surrogate if you go to the site indicated on the poster (here).
A featurette taking footage from the movie trailer of Surrogates is now available:
Duplicity is an upcoming movie directed by Tony Gilroy. It’s about two corporate spies with a romantic history who collaborate to carry out a complicated con. Here below an international poster of Duplicity:

Clive Owen may hide things behind his dark glasses, but I think there is much more behind the shiny eyes of Julia Roberts! She’s such a pretty woman!
;-P
Ben Stiller is getting involved in a new Night at The Museum movie. The plot of Night at the Museum 2 takes place at the Smithsonian, a background for even more crazy adventures and new encounters with megalomaniac historical characters.
We’ve got the first official poster of Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian:
Plot:
“A professor (Nicolas Cage) finds that the contents of a time capsule at his son’s elementary school makes predictions of the future that have come true. The predictions lead the teacher to believe the world is ending, and that he and his son are involved in the apocalypse.”
Nicolas Cage is going to save the world! Can he save us from the recession too?
:)
