Bitch Slap Movie Trailer
You may watch below the new movie trailer of Bitch Slap, an hilarious action movie directed by Rick Jacobson and starring Julia Voth, Erin Cummings, and America Olivo:
BITCH SLAP
Plot:
“At its core, ‘Bitch Slap’ follows three bad girls (a down-and-out stripper, a drug-running killer and a corporate powerbroker) as they arrive at a remote desert hideaway to extort massive booty from a ruthless underworld kingpin. Things quickly spin out of control as allegiances change, truths are revealed, other criminals arrive for the score, the fate of the world hangs in the balance and they are forced to confront a villain much worse than they ever expected… themselves. It’s the ultimate morality tale as, one by one, they realize the whole “she-bang” was a set-up and one of the film’s characters may not even be human…”
The whole trailer of Bitch Slap looks like a promo spot for plastic surgery! Anyway, the movie still looks like it’s going to be entertaining if not edifying. The film will have a limited release on January 8, 2010.

James Cameron Avatar Clip
We got our hands on a clip of James Cameron’s Avatar. The clip features Jack Sully (Sam Worthington) as he is chased by some huge scary and hungry alien beast:
AVATAR – Thanator Chase
Fortunately we don’t have such monsters roaming our streets here on Earth! The Planet Pandora is is maybe beautiful, but it’s actually quite close to hell!
The movie Avatar is definitely going to be epic: a crazy adventure in a world full of danger!

Crazy Heart Movie Trailer
The first official movie trailer of Crazy Heart, an upcoming drama movie starring Jeff Bridges in the lead role as an old country music singer:
CRAZY HEART
Plot:
“Bad Blake (Jeff Bridges) is a broken-down, hard-living country music singer who’s had way too many marriages, far too many years on the road and one too many drinks way too many times. And yet, Bad can’t help but reach for salvation with the help of Jean (Maggie Gyllenhaal), a journalist who discovers the real man behind the musician.”
Seems like Crazy Heart will be a movie soaked with emotion. I wouldn’t be much interested in this film if it wasn’t for Jeff Bridges. Anyway, the movie Crazy Heart will have a limited release on December 16, 2009.

Leaves of Grass Movie Trailer
Leaves of Grass is an upcoming dark comedy written and directed by Tim Blake Nelson and starring Edward Norton in twin roles. Here’s the movie trailer of Leaves of Grass:
LEAVES OF GRASS
Plot:
“Bill Kincaid, an Ivy League classics professor, returns to rural Oklahoma to bury his dangerously brilliant identical twin brother who had remained in their native state to grow hydroponic pot. Leaves of Grass is a fast-paced comic film that contrasts two distinct approaches to life. Featuring Edward Norton in the role of each twin.”
Director Tim Blake Nelson said about his movie Leaves of Grass:
This remark is the opposite of the very tenets of Fight Club, but Edward Norton still manages to deliver a great performance in the movie Leaves of Grass: he must have a dual soul!
The movie Leaves of Grass will be released on December 25, 2009.

SERIOUS MOONLIGHT

I guess it’s a lucky burglar!

Dante’s Inferno Movie Trailer
Bad Lieutenant Nicolas Cage vs Old Ladies
A new clip of Bad Lieutenant has been released. Because this clip out of context, it just looks like Nicolas Cage is insane:
Bad Lieutenant – Nicolas Cage vs Old Ladies
But this scene is more than likely to make you laugh if you watch the whole movie. Still, please show more respect to elders than Nicolas Cage does in this clip of Bad Lieutenant!

Avatar Racist?
A series of short clips in which the actors introduce the characters they’re playing in James Cameron’s Avatar have been released. And I start wondering about something: in Avatar it seems most humans are played by white people and there are only black people and Native people playing as aliens (as the Na’vi from the planet Pandora)? Check for yourself:
Update: following this post (?), those official videos have been tagged as private by Fox in their youtube account…

Lovely Bones Trailer
A new trailer of The Lovely Bones, the upcoming drama movie directed by Peter Jackson and based on Alice Sebold’s book of the same name, has shown up online. It’s a shorter cut of the Lovely Bones trailer previously released:
THE LOVELY BONES
Plot:
“The story centers on a young girl who is murdered but continues to observe her family on Earth after her death. She witnesses the impact of her demise on her loved ones, while her killer skillfully covers his tracks and prepares to murder again.”
The Lovely Bones movie is going to make me cry: it’s a really sad story magnified by Saoirse Ronan’s performance! She’s is a great actress, young but with a real talent!

Resident Evil 4 Trailer

According to Milla Jovovich who plays the role of zombie slayer Alice in the Resident Evil movie series, the movie trailer of Resident Evil 4 will be released in January 2010:
RESIDENT EVIL 4 AFTERLIFE

Plot:
“In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.”
I hope Milla Jovovich is right and that we will have a Resident Evil 4 trailer in January 2010: the sooner the better!

And you really care for the familly who’s trying to fly away from the imminent disaster: 2012 is a gorgeous movie both for its plot and its special effects! May God bless Roland Emmerich for his vision. And let’s hope that God will save us all from the final Apocalypse depicted in 2012!

The movie Leap Year looks like a sweet comedy that one may enjoy to watch but would still swiftly forget because it’s just bland…
;-P
