A first preview clip of Up in the Air, the upcoming comedy drama movie directed by Jason Reitman and starring George Clooney, is available online:

“George Clooney plays Ryan Bingham, a 35 year old a career transition counselor at a Denver-based management consulting company, Integrated Strategic Management (ISM). Ryan travels around the country to terminate corporate employees. He does not have a personal life and he numbs himself with sex, booze and drugs. His life on the road comes to a halt when his company downsizes its travel budget. He is required to spend more time at home just as he is on the cusp of a goal he’s worked toward for years: reaching five million frequent flyer miles and just after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.”

George Clooney is a damn charming actor. Even when like in the movie Up in the Air he plays a not-so-friendly character!

The corporate world is a source of inspiration for Hollywood. We already had the Extract, The Informant will be released soon and we’ll get to see the movie Up in the Air quite soon.

An exclusive trailer of Twilight New Moon will premiere during the MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009. They’re promising ‘fresh’ New Moon footage in that new trailer. Valhalla Rising is an upcoming new viking fantasy movie set to be released in Europe early next year. It is directed by Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn and is starring Mads Mikkelsen in the lead role. Watch below the movie trailer of Valhalla Rising:

Quite impressed by this trailer of Valhalla Rising. I dig this atmosphere of Norse savagery! Let’s hope that Valhalla Rising will get a US release!

Well judging from the material released so far for Whip It I think she managed to reach her goal. And I’m quite impatient to see Ellen Page joining that crazy roller derby league.

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasuss will be a great movie to go watch on Christmas: the crazy plot of that movie will make the day even more special!

The Road is an upcoming post-apocalyptic movie directed by John Hillcoat. It is based on the book of the same name written by Cormac McCarthy. The film is starring Viggo Mortensen, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Charlize Theron. And a series of clips of the Road just popped up online for us to watch:
