Plot synopsis:
“Reeling from the brutal murder of his mother, Jake Stetson (Rane Jameson) uses a popular online presence to highlight police corruption and apathy. His blog and videos inspire the public to protect itself, lead to a rash of internal investigations of police departments across the country, and spark a nation-wide vigilante movement calling itself ‘The Pioneers’. Jake eventually finds himself at the center of a media firestorm, as well as the focus of vengeful police officers.
Wary that he may be in danger, Jake hides out with childhood friend, Daniel (Leif Steinert), but soon discovers that even meek Daniel is involved in a Pioneers group led by the charismatic Evan (Caleb Smith). Fascinated, Jake soon joins the vigilantes, but after expressing his disgust at the level of violent torture The Pioneers inflict on their captive criminals, Jake soon becomes their prime target.”
