There’s a new Jack The Giant Killer movie ahead of us. The film is directed by Bryan Singer and is starring Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, Bill Nighy, John Kassir, and Ian McShane. The film is a dark take on the popular folk tale “Jack and the Beanstalk”.

Plot:
“When a princess is kidnapped, a long-standing peace between men and giants becomes threatened, and a young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giant kingdom to rescue her.”

Cast:
– Nicholas Hoult as Jack, a young farmer who leads the expedition to rescue the princess
– Eleanor Tomlinson as the princess who is kidnapped by giants
– Stanley Tucci as the villain, an adviser to the king with designs on usurping power
– Bill Nighy and John Kassir as Fallon, the two-headed leader of the giants. Nighy plays the big head and Kassir plays the smaller head
– Ewan McGregor as the leader of the king’s elite guard, who helps fight giants
– Ian McShane as King Brahmwell, the princess’ father, who is none too thrilled about a union between his daughter and a farmer boy

The movie Jack The Giant Killer will be released by Warner Bros on June 15, 2012.
