What do you think of this first Transformers 3 trailer? :)
Director Michael Bay replied to some rumor on his official site’s forum and he revealed that the first trailer of Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon will show in front of Narnia 3:
“[…] the Transformers announcement piece comes out on Tron and Narnia.”
Director Michael bay
So the first trailer of Transformers 3 will released on December 10 with Narnia 3, or maybe a few days later, on December 17 in front of Tron legacy.
Anyway, I guess the movie trailer of Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon will show up online soon after if not before. :)
The new villain in Transformers Dark of the Moon will be Shockwave, a longtime Transformers character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth. :)

Director Michael bay and the crew of Transformers 3 have been filming in downtown Chicago. So you bet that fans have been flocking around the set. And a few of them have brought back some really interesting videos showing the behind the scenes of Transformers 3:
In a surprising move, Director Michael Bay spitted the beans about the next villain of the Transformers movie franchise: the movie villain of Transformers 3 will be Shockwave!
The Shockwave we will see in the movie Transformers 3 will probably be an updated version of the action figure below, I wonder if they’re going to keep the same color though:
Shockwave became dictator of Cybertron while the other Autobots and Decepticons were away. I guess he now wants to control Earth too.
So Unicron won’t appear in Transformers 3. But hey, I think Shockwave is a good deal for Transformers 3. Don’t you agree? :)
You’ve certainly heard that Actress Megan Fox isn’t attached anymore to the Transformers movie franchise. So she won’t be on board Transformers 3. Don’t worry, Director Michael Bay has already found a new female lead: Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been hired for the job. It’s not the first time Michael Bay and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley work together: last year, Michael bay directed indeed an action-packed Victoria’s Secret commercial starring the British model.
We don’t know the plot of Transformers 3 yet but Director Michael Bay said that this new Transformers movie will show more of Bumblebee and that it will develop the robot characters generally. Could we see more of Megan Fox too? Please!
Michael Bay also revealed that there will be a Ferrari Transformers.
The movie Transformers 3 is scheduled for a release on July 1, 2011. :)
Transformers 3 has been going very well. We are going to shoot in LA, Chicago, Washington DC, Florida, Texas, Africa, Moscow, and China. On the talent front, we just locked in Frances McDormand and John Malkovich. Both amazing actors I’ve always wanted to work with. We also just got Ken Jeong, he is the super funny actor stuck in the trunk from “Hangover” and the Doctor from “Knocked Up.”
We start shooting pre-shoots in about one month.
I also was at a Ferrari charity event this week raising money for a hospital being built by Ferrari in Haiti. I announced that night the newest Autobot to join Transformers: the Ferrari 458 Italia.
Salvador
So Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong will join the cast:
And there will be a Ferrari Transformers:
(Click on the picture to enlarge it.)
Well, Ferrari cars are nice, but I wish Michael bay would have chosen an electric car instead… like Tesla Roadster…
Anyway, impatient to see what that new Ferrari autobot will look like in the movie Transformers 3! :)
Thanks to Deadline Hollywood we learned that filming of Transformers 3 should start in May 2010: Shia Labeouf has recently wrapped Oliver Stone’s ‘Wall Street 2 and is now getting ready for Transformers 3.
The plot of Transformers 3 hasn’t been revealed yet, but Director Michael Bay has been teasing the fans saying that Transformers 3 will show more of Bumblebee and that it will develop the robot characters generally:
And Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura said that the giant Unicron won’t show up any soon, but he praised the Mini-Crons stating that they’re really cool.
The movie Transformers is set to be released on July 1, 2011 . :)
There was a doubt about the release date of Transformers 3: Michael Bay was willing to return but wanted to take a break first, and Transformers 3 would have been pushed back to 2012 instead of 2011 as a result. But fear no more: it looks like he has bent under the pressure of Paramount (or rather he’s been promised a really fat paycheck) and that the movie Transformers 3 will hit theaters on July 1, 2011 as previously announced by Paramount.
“Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.”
Director Michael Bay
He also jokes about the recent controversy fueled by Megan Fox who compared him to a dictator:
“PS: Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.”
Director Michael Bay
Without much surprise, both Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox will be back for Transformers 3 then. And Director Michael Bay will make sure that this new Transformers movie will be as explosive as the previous ones.
We don’t know yet the plot of Transformers 3, but the mini-cons are likely to show up because Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura mentioned them not so long ago.
Don’t forget the release date of Transformers 3: it’s on July 1, 2011! :)
Transformers fans are begging for Unicron (Unicron is a a nearly omnipotent robot/planetoid, a kind of Galactus) to appear in Transformers 3, the next Transformers movie sequel. But that’s unlikely to happen according to Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura who spoke his mind to IGN (here):
“Unicron worries me because it’s so big that it dwarves emotion. It’s so hard, because when you’re working to that scale, it sort of becomes outside any kind of human reality you have. It’s obviously a great character, and one that we’re definitely going to talk about, but for me personally – and I’m not the only vote here – that one scares me. Because of its size, it becomes sort of impersonal when it gets to that scale. […] And for me that worries me because I like the human characters.”
Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura
But on the other hand Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has been praising the Mini-Cons stating that they’re really cool!
“I love the Mini-Cons actually – I think they’re very cool. I love the lore.”
Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura
The Mini-Cons are a race of small, roughly human-sized Transformers capable of combining with a larger Transformer to impart extra abilities or greatly increase their strength.
Would love to see those mini-cons in Transformers 3: it would promise gorgeous scenes with robotic transformations! So yes, please Dear Mr. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, please bring in the mini-cons for the movie Transformers 3! I beg you! We all do! ;-P
We now have an official confirmation from Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures that a Transformers 3 movie is definitely at the horizon. The studios have set the release date of Transformers 3 on July 1, 2011.
No official word about Shia Labeouf and Michael Bay: but can’t imagine them not being back, so it’s quite sure they’re in for Transformers 3.
This third Transformers movie will be incredibly marvelous with the new development in CGI and special effects. And we can fairly expect that Transformers 3 will go real 3D: just imagine giant robots battling in your IMAX theater: gorgeous! :)
Hollywood production companies are definitely optimistic concerning its blockbuster, and one more Transformers sequel has been decided even before the second film is released.
We don’t have a direct confirmation for Transformers 3, but according to Dark Horizons, the sequel to Transformers Revenge of The fallen should be released in June 2011, which sounds credible:
Transformers 3 On the upcoming release schedule for Germany, it appears that a second ‘Transformers’ sequel has already been scheduled for June 29th 2011.
Dark Horizons
Quite sure that Director Michael Bay and Shia Labeouf will be back, but I wonder who will be the villain in the Transformers 3 movie, any idea? :)
