You probably know that the first official movie trailer of Captain America will premiere during the Super Bowl, and you’ll be able to watch it here as soon as available online. According to Director Joe Johnston the Superbowl trailer of Captain America will be worth the wait:

“[The Super Bowl Captain America trailer] IS the world’s first look at the film, but at some point you have to put that pressure aside and just concentrate on making it the best Super Bowl spot it can be. The challenge is really what to leave in and what to leave out when you only have 30 seconds, and the marketing people at Paramount have done a stellar job of finding that balance. I think it will give the world just the right taste of what the film is without giving away too much. You will definitely get a sense of how rich the imagery is and how intense the action, and it will whet your appetite for the two and a half minute trailer coming soon.”

Director James Cameron must have a real fascination for diving. He not only spent his 56th birthday in a Russian deep sea submersible to reach the bottom of Lake Baikal in Siberia, the deepest freshwater lake in the world, but also intends to explore the Mariana Trench, the deepest point of the oceans (10.9km down in the western Pacific), as part of his research for a sequel to Avatar. Twelve men have been to the moon but only two have been to the bottom of the oceans – James Cameron wants to be third. He’s commissioned a special submersible to get there. And from what I heard it will be fitted with 3D cameras. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the footage he is going bring back from the Mariana Tench ends up in Avatar 2.
The plan is to release Avatar 2 on December 14, 2014 and Avatar 3 a year later on December 15, 2015:
“I am in the process of writing the next two Avatar films now. We are planning to shoot them together and post them together, and we will probably release them not quite back to back, but about a year apart. Christmas 14 and 15 is the current plan.[…]
Basically, if you survived the first film, you get to be in the second film, at least in some form…”

“The action in REC Genesis encompasses the events of the first two films and after the sense of claustrophobia previously experiences. The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. In a clever twist that draws together the plots of the first two movies this third part of the saga also works as a decoder to uncover information hidden in the first two films and leaves the door open for the final installment the future REC Apocalypse.”
