Actor Jeff bridges has been spotted on the set of True Grit, an upcoming western movie directed by the Coen brothers:

Plot:
“Mattie Ross (Hailee Steinfeld), a 14-year-old girl, undertakes a quest to avenge her father’s death at the hands of a drifter named Tom Chaney (Josh brolin). Ross persuades an alcoholic marshal named Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges) to join her in tracking down Chaney.”

Besides Jeff Bridges, the film is also starring Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Hailee Steinfeld, Barry Pepper, and Paul Rae. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Charles Portis. It’s not the first time True Grit is adapted into a movie: the first film was starring John Wayne. But the Coen Brothers’ True grit will be more faithful to the book, it will focus on the girl’s point of view.
