Preview clip of the upcoming season 4 of Heroes have been shown during the Comic Con:
Heroes Season 4 Sneak Preview from Comic Con
Incredible fight scene showing Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) vs Edgar (Ray Park)
Robert Knepper will be in heroes Season 4! How awesome! And the gorgeous Ali Larter will back! Damn, now, I’m dying of impatience to watch Heroes Season 4! But just hope that it won’t all be about Scylar…
:)
I really like the clean concept behind this poster: Disney should buy the right of this poster and publish it as a tease rposter of Tron Legacy. What do you think?
:)
Hmmm, at watching this clip of GI Joe, I want to go to some fitness club, not really for exercise, just to observe the gorgeous effect of Earth’s gravity.
;-)
Cable, the unwilling warrior pawn played by Gerard Butler, has a beautiful girlfriend who kind of reminds Mila Jovovich in the Fifth Element.
Looks like the movie will be titled Ultimate Game in France. Makes me think that Lionsgate should have kept the former title which was Citizen Game. Well, Gamer isn’t bad but not as good as Citizen Game…
:)
Actor Chris Hemsworth, who played James T. Kirk’s father in the last Star Trek movie, the one who sacrifice himself to save his familly, has been casted as the mighty Thor in the upcoming Thor movie which is set for a release in May 2011. We also know that Tom Hiddleston is going to play the role of Loki, Thor’s brother and nemesis:
Those two actors are not really well known. That’s maybe why Director Kenneth Branagh chose them: he prefers to avoid the movie to be get over hyped because of famous names: doing so, the public will judge the movie for what it is and according to what they were expecting.
From what I heard the movie Thor won’t get lost in supernatural Asgard in order to fit in the current mold of realism set by earlier movies based on Marvel’s characters.
:)
You may watch below a red band trailer (it’s even called the blood band trailer on the official site) of of the Collector, an upcoming horror movie directed by Marcus Dunstan who is one of the screenwriter of the Saw movie series (kid, should first ask mummy if you can watch the clip!):
Well for once the red-band is well deserved! Not because of the glimpse of tits at the beginning but because of the bloody disgusting end of the Collector trailer…
:-/
He’s too handsome to play a villain, and from what I saw in the previous preview clip of GI Joe, he cant’ be compared to Ray Park who’s playing Snake Eyes, Byun Hun Lee isn’t badass enough…
;-P
Ryan Reynolds, who’s already playing the role of Marvel’s Deapool, has been selected by Warner Bros to play as DC Comic’s Green Lantern in the upcoming movie dedicated to the green-ring hero. The news came as a surprise to all. But well, Ryan Reynolds is a good actor, and most agree that he’s a quite good choice.
Update: here’s the first official picture of Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern:
Here’s an earlier fan-art rendition of Ryan Reynolds in the Green Lantern’s outfit:
Fan-made picture of Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern (Created by JoshMC)
This announcement of the lead actor indicates that the story of this Green Lantern movie will revolve around Hal Jordan, the original Caucasian Green Lantern. So we are likely to see the battle between Legion and Abin Sur, Abin Sur’s crash landing on Earth, as well as the choosing of Hal Jordan.
I wonder if Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern is going to recite the oath with pride or with a deadpoolesque tongue in cheek:
In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil’s might,
Beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!
Hal Jordan/All Current Lanterns
Anyway Director Martin Campbell will have a significant budget ($150 million) to blow us away with the the movie Green Lantern, so let’s hope it will be awesome.
:)
Ashton Kutcher is half gigolo, half womanizer in the movie Spread, an upcoming sex-a-licious comedy directed by David Mackenzie. Watch below a first preview clip of the movie Spread:
Brilliant Conversationalist – Spread Movie
Nikki (Ashton Kutcher) tries repeatedly to get a phone number from Heather (Margarita Levieva).
Hey, I met my wife like that! Have to show her this movie clip of Spread!
:)
It’s been announced, via Variety, that Director David Hackl (who started off as a production designer for Saw 2, Saw 3 and Saw 4, before directing Saw 5) will return for Saw 7.
Not real clue why Lionsgate isn’t keeping Kevin Greutert (who’s directing Saw 6). But David Hackl did bring us a hit with Saw 5. So I won’t comlain about him coming back to helm the movie Saw 7.
By the way, Saw VII will start production in January 2010 for a release in October 2010.
:)
DC Comic anti-hero Jonah Hex is getting his own movie under the direction of Jimmy Hayward. In the lead role, Josh Brolin, and John Malkovich as his nemesis who has some smattering of Voodoo, and let’s not forget the beautiful Megan Fox as Jonah Hex’s love interest:
There is a party for Bella’s 18th birthday at the Cullens’ house, but she clumsily cut herself and blood is spilled in front of the vampire family… Jasper, overwhelmed by his blood hunger, springs to attack her, but fortunately the other vampires are still behaving and hinder Jasper from having a blood fest on Bella’s body. Here some pictures from the New Moon birthday party:
This sad event prompt the Cullens to leave Forks for Bella’s safety. So they get away from the city, leaving Bella heartbroke and lonely… But Jacob understands there is here an opportunity to seize: (Click on the picture to enlarge it.)
We may think that one man’s loss is another man’s gain… But thanks to the complexity of love (and this is no spoiler), Bella and Edward shall find each other again at the end of the movie New Moon.
:)
The movie St Trinian is a cute comedy directed by Oliver Parker and Barnaby Thompson. St Trinian’s is actually the sixth in a long-running series (the first in 1954) of films based on the works of cartoonist Ronald Searle (whose cartoons are based on an experimental school that existed in England during the first half of the 20th century). But this latest St Trinian movie is definitely anchored in our time, with crazy teen girls who do as they want. The film is starring Mischa Barton, Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Lena Headey, Caterina Murino, Stephen Fry, Jodie Whittaker, Celia Imrie, Anna Chancellor, Gemma Arterton, comedian Russell Brand and Toby Jones in the cast alongside model Lily Cole. U.K. pop act Girls Aloud who also take a turn in the picture.
Watch below the first official movie trailer of St trinian:
Plot:
“St Trinian’s, the infamous school for ‘young ladies’ is once again facing dire financial crisis! The bank are threatening headmistress Camilla Fritton with closure. Her unorthodox doctrine of free expression and self empowerment is also under threat from new Education Minister Geoffrey Thwaits, an old flame of Camilla’s who is determined to bring discipline and order to the anarchic school.
In true St Trinian style the girls are in a league of their own; smart, fearless and determined to defend the school they love to the end. They need to unite the warring girl gang cliques and come up with the cash fast to save the school.”
That’s a dream school for kids maybe, but not sure they would learn enough there… Our world needs scientists! And women scientist too! I’d like to see science and scientists getting a better coverage from Hollywood, and a positive coverage please, not the usual mad scientist stereotype: I bet it would inspire kids to follow careers related to science. Anyway, I’m kind of digressing… And at the end I’ll still bring my daughter to go watch the movie St Trinian, we wouldn’t miss a good laugh after all.
The PG-13 comedy St Trinian will be released in select theaters on October 2, 2009.
:)
The poor stitchpunks from the movie 9 must face dangerous beasts to fulfill their mission. Watch this clip of Shane Acker’s 9 which was shown during the Comic Con:
Two beautiful photos of Jake Gyllenhaal as Dastan and Gemma Arterton as Princess Tamina in the upcoming Prince of Persia The Sands of Time, aka PoP, SoT for the gamers, have shown up online:
I’d like to pin those pictures of Prince of Persia on my wall. Really nice shots! But because they look so good I worry about something… I’m afraid that Mike Newell’s Prince of Persia movie is going to be too sanitized… It’s too clean! I mean put some dirt on screen (do they need CGI nowadays for things and people to look dirty in movies?). Otherwise it’s gonna look fake…
;-P
