A brand new GI Joe character poster features Channing Tatum as Duke has shown up online:
About Duke:
Much better poster than the bluish version they released earlier, but it still looks kind of cheap…

Scriptwritter Roberto Orci talked about Star Trek 2 during an interview given to SciFi (here):
It sounds like like Orci feels he has more freedom than before thanks to the success of the first film. Good then! because I definitely want him and Alex Kurtzman to explore their own take on the Star trek franchise!
More at: Star Trek 2 Trailer
I definitely accept to say goodbye to grandfather’s Star Trek. I hope that the movie Star Trek 2 will keep rejuvenating the show canons and boldly go beyond!

A new international poster of Inglourious Basterds, the upcoming World War 2 movie by Quentin Tarantino, has shown up online:
Inglourious Basterds Trailer
Brad Pitt’s moustache on this poster of Inglourious Basterds looks quite good, but George Clooney’s in Men Who Stare at Goats looks much better.

Nowadays a girl does not have to wait for her boyfriend to propose her: she can propose him first indeed!
Below some more preview clips of the upcoming romantic comedy movie The Proposal:
Plot:
“Sandra Bullock stars as a book editor, who forces her assistant Ryan Reynolds to marry her in order to avoid being deported to Canada. When the government investigates, she and her assistant are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in order to sell the lie.”
You think that this INS agent is nosy, just imagine how it is with an agent from the IRS… Believe me: much worse!

Two new pictures of Sherlock Holmes, Guy Ritchie’s take on the famous detective create by Conan Doyle:
Rachel McAdams plays the role of Irene Adler, a femme fatale from New Jersey who once outwitted Holmes, earning his grudging respect. In the film, Adler is no longer married to Godfrey Norton and needs Holmes’ help for the case. Downey convinced Ritchie to cast McAdams, arguing she would not look too young to be his love interest.
No direct link between those two pictures, but I can but think of R. Kelly song: Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) is gonna stick his key in Irene Adler’s ignition (Rachel McAdams)!
;-P
Director Guillermo del Toro is busy for now with the Hobbit but he still intends to make a Hellboy 3 movie:
More information at: Hellboy 3 Movie Trailer
And from what he said to SciFi, Hellboy 3 would be the last for him:
Then if the movie Hellboy 3 is going to be the last one of the series, I hope that it will be about the final apocalypse that Hellboy is supposed to bring upon us hence fulfilling the dark prophecy of the second movie.

It’s produced by Walt Disney movie so don’t expect too many jokes under the belt in this Old Dogs movie.

The Timer Traveler’s Wife, upcoming sci-fi romantic movie starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams, is about a love story that crosses time. Here’s the first poster:
Time Traveler’s Wife Movie Poster
This one-sheet looks more like a book cover than like a movie poster…

You may watch below the first trailer of Whiteout, an upcoming thriller movie directed by and starring Kate Beckinsale and Gabriel Macht:
The most isolated landmass on the planet,
No official government,
No permanent population…
Temperature: 120 Below zero
Wind speed: 200 miles per hour
No horizon! No Shadows!
There is only White…
The movie Whiteout is an adaptation of the 1999 comic book of the same name by writer Greg Rucka and artist Steve Lieber. In the comic book the crime is just an excuse to show how harsh Antarctica can be: The frozen continent is all white, it’s no paradise, it’s like hell!
Judging from the movie trailer of Whiteout it seems that Dominic Sena’s take is faithful to to the source material and still manage. That’s probably why Greg Rucka himself applauds this film adaptation.
The movie Whiteout will be released on September 11, 2009.
:)
Looks like a fifth Indiana Jones movie is being planned. Actor Shia Labeouf hinted at Indiana Jones 5 during an interview given to the BBC (here):
I suppose that this Indiana Jones 5 movie would focus more on Shia Labeouf, the previous movie clearly made him the legitimate heir to Harrison Ford.
:)
A new batch of international posters of Ice Age 3, aka Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs:
I really hope they’re going to make a spin-off movie dedicated to Scrat the squirrel! This naughty acorn hunter is so cute!
:)
Here below an extended clip of The Proposal, an upcoming romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds:
I like Ryan Reynolds’ smile at the end of this extended clip of The Proposal: I hope to see this little snarky smile in the upcoming Deadpool movie.
By the way The Proposal is released this week in theaters.

A teaser poster of Shrek 4 was shown at the Licensing Show in Las Vegas:
Update: here’s the movie trailer of Shrek 4!
Plot:
“Shrek (Mike Myers) has become a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is tricked into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) have never met. Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all of Rumpelstiltskin’s mischief in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love and family.”
The movie Shrek 4, aka Shrek Forever After, will be directed by Mike Mitchell and is set for a release in may 2010.
I am not impatient at all to watch the movie Shrek 4 but my kids kind of like the green ogre’s fart jokes… Think twice before having kids!

In a bit more than a week Transformers 2 is going to be unleashed. Meanwhile here’s another Transformers Revenge of the Fallen preview clip, this one features the giant Demolishor:
The marketing team promoting GI-Joe is either lazy or running out of ideas… Here’s the ‘new’ bluish poster of GI Joe:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
Hearing some negative buzz about the movie GI Joe, it may explain why the studios aren’t investing more to promote the movie if they think it’s going to be a flop…
