Like Cain and Abel, Tobey Maguire (Spiderman) and Jake Gyllenhaal (Prince of Persia) are two brothers at odds in the upcoming remake movie Brothers, a drama directed by Jim Sheridan:

None of those posters of New York I Love You look really great, but curiously, they look so nice when they are put together like above. Don’t you think so?
:)
In the movie Whiteout, US Marshall Carrie (Kae Beckinsale) has to face a vicious criminal in the white coldness of Antarctica. Let’s watch those preview clips of Whiteout:
Take a look to the poster of The Men Who Stare at Goats, an upcoming dark comedy directed by Grant Heslov and starring George Clooney:

I wonder if PETA is going to protest against this movie… Revealing such a secret to people could threat the life of many animals! I know I’m gonna stare at my neighbor’s dog because that pooch is always barking like hell!
;-)
Director Alejandro Amenabar wants to bring us back to Ancient times in Roman Alexandria. The movie Agora is about astrologer-philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria (Rachel Weisz), who fights to save the collected wisdom of the ancient world from the wrath of Christian followers. Here’s the latest poster of Agora:
The first official movie trailer of The Descent 2 has been released online, you may watch it below:
THE DESCENT: Part 2
Plot:
“The sequel will continue the story of Sarah who, as the only known survivor of an all-female caving expedition gone horrifically wrong, suffers severe psychological trauma. She accompanies a rescue team back to the cave but events once again take a sinister turn.
The Descent Part 2 picks up immediately after the events depicted in The Descent. Sarah (Shauna Macdonald) emerges alone from a cave system following an expedition with her five friends in the Appalachian mountains. Distraught, injured and covered in the blood of her missing companions, Sarah is incoherent and half-wild with fear. Skeptical about her account of events and convinced Sarah’s psychosis hides far darker secrets, Sheriff Vaines forces her back into the caves to help locate the rest of the group. Trapped by falling rocks, the rescue party is driven deep into the caverns, and as one by one the fate of the missing girls is revealed. Sarah struggles to stay alive and once again encounters the evil in the deep.”
The world down under our feet is as alien as space indeed. Who knows what monsters are hiding below! I would never go back down there like that girl does in the Descent 2!
;-P
A creepy nerve-racking motion poster has been unveiled for Pandorum the sci-fi horror movie directed by Christian Alvart, just click on the poster below to launch the animation (or click –>here):
Gamer – Trust me I swear!
Gina (Kyra Sedgwick) rescues Kable (Gerard Butler) with her groovy van.
The movie revolves around Kable who has been unwillingly enrolled to fight in a futuristic gladiatorial game in which the fighters are just pawns controlled by online gamers.
:)
In the movie she plays the role of a high school girl who’s been cursed and now she eats her male schoolmates… The hand we see in her backpack must be her lunch…

Rachel Weisz plays the role of astrologer-philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria in Agora, an upcoming History drama movie directed by Alejandro Amenabar. Here below the latest trailer of Agora:
Plot:
“A historical drama set in Roman Egypt, concerning a slave who turns to the rising tide of Christianity in the hopes of pursuing freedom while also falling in love with his master, the famous female philosophy professor and atheist Hypatia of Alexandria.”
I’m a bit disappointed by Michael Sheen’s Aro: he looks like some a mix between a priest and a corporate guy… On the other hand I’m damn impressed by Cameron Bright as Alec and Dakota Fanning as Jane, those two make great Volturi twins!
This November comes a story so unbelievable it has to be true!
Plot:
“tells the true (albeit somewhat bizarre) story about a top secret unit within the American military whose purpose is to develop mind-control powers for ‘psychic spying’. The film follows a reporter, Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor), who stumbles into the story of a lifetime when he meets a special forces agent, Lyn Cassady (George Clooney). As they embark on a new mission, Lyn reveals his twenty-year involvement in this top secret, psychic military unit and shares details of their activities, each more bizarre than the last (including staring at goats in order to kill them telepathically).”
The movie Men Who Stare at Goats is directed by Grant Heslov and is starring George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. It’s gonna be a hell of a comedy movie!
I would not stare at that goat: I’d rather sacrifice the animal right away and transform its delicious meat into tasty goat kebabs!
:)
Some good news for the fans of Captain Jack Sparrow and of the Pirates of the Caribbean: it’s been announced that Pirates of the Caribbean would be released in 2011 instead of 2012!
“We’re going to shoot Pirates 4 in April and May of next year. We are going to release it hopefully in 2011. Pirates 4 would hopefully be the first of another trilogy.”
Walt Disney’s Head of Production Oren Aviv
Not sure that Director Gore Verbinski will return to helm this fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie: I guess there’s money talk behind this, or some other schedule conflict.
There was a strong rumor about the Fountain of Youth being central in the plot of Pirates of the Caribbean 4: well it’s indeed likely to be that! Hollywood Elsewhere got confirmation from one their secret-but-reliable sources. There is also mention of a kind of Captain Nemo utilizing new-style technology who would be the new villain in this new opus of Pirates of the Caribbean 4.
No more more whinning from Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom who left the boat, but fortunately Johnny Depp will be back as Jack Sparrow, and Geoffrey Rush is also probably reprising his role as Captain Barbossa.
So impatient to watch the movie Pirates of the Caribbean 4!
