Director David R. Ellis and Scriptwriter Eric Bress are back for a fourth opus of the Final Destination movie series. This fourth movie, titled The Final Destination, is scheduled to be released in August 2009. Actor Bobby Campo got the lead role as Nick O’Bannon, the unfortunate dude who thinks that he can cheat Death.
Plot:
“On what should have been a “typical day at the races” for McKinley Speedway, Nick O’Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a grisly premonition of a race car fatally crashing and sending debris into the stands, gruesomely killing his friends, and causing an overhang to collapse on him. He awakens, not being able to shake the feeling of how real his vision appeared, he panics, and just in time, persuades the group of teenagers to leave the bleachers. Immediately afterward objects begin to fly into the public as his frightening dream turns into a tragic reality. Unfortunately for Nick, alongside his girlfriend Lori (Shantel VanSanten) and her best friend Janet (Haley Webb), this is only the beginning. As the survivors begin to die one-by-one in even more terrifying ways than they had originally, Nick must figure out how to cheat Death once and for all before he too reaches his final destination.”
Final Destination 4 will be in 3D: that’s one more dimension for us to better understand how the Grim Reaper does its job!
The movie Final Destination 4, aka The Final Destination, hits theaters on August 21, 2009.

I really need my weekly sci-fi fix… Nothing interesting to watch now… The sooner the new TV series V will start the better it will be!
:)
I wouldn’t dare to bug Taylor Lautner who plays the role of Jacob Black the werewolf: he’s just a teenager but he could knock me out with just a blow! He really worked a lot to keep his role in the movie Twilight 2 aka New Moon, impressive!
Director Louis Leterrier is working on Clash of the Titans, a remake of the cult 1981 movie of the same name. This remake is starring Sam Worthington Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes, respetively as Perseus, Zeus and Hades.
Update: here’s the movie trailer of Clash of the Titans:
CLASH OF THE TITANS MOVIE TRAILER
We may have a first look at Sam Worthington as Perseus:

Below some pictures of the set:

Plot:
“Perseus (Sam Worthington) is the mortal son of Zeus (Liam Neeson), king of the gods. He must lead a band of warriors on a quest to prevent Hades (Ralph Fiennes), god of the underworld, from seizing power from Zeus.”
The original movie is maybe cult, but this remake is welcome: the technologies are here now to perfectly render the glory Olympus and of its gods. And beyond the special effects, I’m confident that this new cast will do great under the direction of Louis Leterrier. I bet this new Clash of the Titans will be even greater than the 1981 version.
Sam Worthington looks good in his battle gear, but I’m actually waiting for a picture of Ralph Fiennes as Hades, I’m fan of Fiennes.

A Spiderman 4 movie is scheduled to be released in May 2011. Thanks to AICN You may take a look to the first teaser poster of this new Spiderman movie here below: (Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
SPIDERMAN 4

No real clue yet about what villains will show off in Spiderman 4. Director Sam Raimi has been hinting at the vampire Morbius as a possible contender while Stan Lee said that the Lizzard would be a logic choice.
Raimi also acknowledges that there were too many villains in the third opus, so I guess that Spiderman won’t have more than 2 main nemesis in the fourth movie.
I’d be fine with both Morbius and the Lizzard in Spiderman 4. What about you? What villain would you rather see in the movie Spiderman 4?
;-P
The Stepfather
Genre: Horror/Thriller
Directed by: Nelson McCormick
Starring: Penn Badgley, Dylan Walsh, Amber Heard, Christopher Meloni, Sela Ward
Release Date: October 16, 2009
Plot:
“A seemingly normal guy wants the perfect family, but when his new wife and stepchild don’t measure up, he makes plans to eliminate them and move on to the next.”
“Basically, the Fallen is to them [Transformers and Decepticons] what cavemen, Neanderthals were to us. He’s the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. He’s the first version of this sentient being. That’s what he is. He’s the origins of what they came from.”
Shia Labeouf
The Fallen is maybe old, but he is far from being outdated: he’s no threat to ignore…

Ryan Reynolds just confirmed that he will indeed reprise his role as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool in the spin-off Deadpool movie FOX is planning to release in 2012/2013.
Here’s what Ryan Reynolds recently said about the film:
“Look, I’m into any role in which I get to kick Captain America in the nuts. [..]
Yeah, the script is in the works. That’s about all I can really say. They’re actively hashing it out.[…]
Well, I’m intimately involved with it. We’re just trying to break a story right now and figure out who the villain is going to be and all that stuff. But, it’s going to be just like the comic books. I’m gonna have a messed up face and you may see some flashbacks of Wade earlier in his life, but primarily what you see is what you get in the comics and that’s the goal. And there is no better place to draw material from than the comics which are incredible.”
Actor Ryan Reynolds
Good to know they keep the funny side of Deadpool in mind: I laugh out loud after reading about Captain America’s nuts!
I wonder if Scott Adkins will be back too as stunt double. Hope so, because I can’t imagine Ryan Reynolds training enough in just 3 years…
