Never thought I could be scared by the sight of Megan Fox, but it happened with her make up for Jennifer’s Body:
We aren’t finished yet with lethal fatalities: Director Christopher Morrison, aka Mink, is indeed working in the shadow to bbring us a new Mortal Kombat movie. Following the relative disaster of MK2 it’s not an easy task to garner enough attention and cash to launch Mortal Kombat 3. But it looks like he may have found his way at the end: actor Chris Casamassa, who played in the first Mortal Kombat movie, innocently said principal photography of a new Mortal Kombat movie would start in September 2009.
More information at: Mortal Kombat Trailer
IMDb is listing the movie nder the title of Mortal Kombat for a release in 2010. But no real clue about what this new Mortal Kombat movie will be about… Is it a Mortal Kombat movie sequel? Or a reboot of Mortal Kombat?
A Mortal Kombat movie going all CGI would be better than a live action film though… Only CGI could really render the gorgeous fatalities from the game on screen!

Director Ridley Scott and Actor Russell Crowe, who once amazed us with Gladiator, team up again for Robin Hood, an upcoming movie based on the legendary character. The film was originally titled Nottingham, but it has since switched to Robin Hood which is easier to sell to the man in the street. Along Russel Crowe as Robin Hood the cast also includes Cate Blanchett as Lady Marion as Robin Hood’s love interest and Mark Strong as Sir Godfrey, King John’s henchman.
Robin Hood by Director Ridley Scott
Take a look to this picture of Russell Crowe as Robin Hood:

The release date of Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood is set for May 14, 2010.

In the movie District 9 mankind is gonna make close encounters of the Third Kind! The aliens will even live among us as refugees. Well, not exactly among us, actually those sentient beings will be restricted to District 9, the shanty town they landed on. Watch below the latest full length trailer of District 9:
They came 28 years ago.
Coexistence has never been easy
Why won’t we let them leave?
SyFy will launch Stargate Universe, aka SGU, this October. Here below thw latest trailer of SGU:
Two new hi-res pictures of Sam Worthington as Perseus in the upcoming remake movie Clash of the Titans directed by Louis Leterrier:
Clash of the Titans Movie Pics
Not sure Liam Neeson and Sam Worthington will really look like father and son, but that’s a detail one may forgive easily knowing the talent of both actors .
And judgng fromt hose pics above the movie Clash of the Titans is going to be awesome with manly action!
:)
A bootleg trailer of Gatchaman, aka Battle of the Planets, has leaked online:
A world in chaos, an alien evil.
A lone warrior is found,
Earth’s last hope
Five shall rise!
This looks like a good adaptation of the original Gatchaman series. I guess it’s easier to renew a manga with CGI than in live action. Thumbs up for Imagi Studios! Impatient to watch the movie Gatchaman!
:)
Nicolas Cage is a sorcerer and Jay Baruchel serves as his apprentice in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, an upcoming fantasy movie directed by Jon Turteltaub. Below a first look at Cage and Bazruchel in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice:
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Movie With Nicolas Cage

This movie is a live action re-imagining of the famed Sorcerer’s Apprentice segment in Disney’s Fantasia. I hope that Director Jon Turteltaub and Nicolas Cage are aren’t wasting their time and that The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a really good movie, because meanwhile they aren’t are working on National Treasure 3.
Anyway, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice movie is still an occasion to see Nicolas Cage with long hair!

The latest movie poster of Neil Blomkamp’s District 9:

You are not welcome here!
A new full length trailer of District 9 is expected to show up online this Wednesday.
:)
You may watch below the first official movie trailer of
Jennifer’s Body, an horror-comedy movie written by Diablo Cody (who once brought us Juno) and starring Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Simons and Adam Brody:
Behind her smile, under her skin, inside her body
lives
A DEMON !
From the mind of Diablo Cody,
comes a horror movie like you’ve never heard before!
Megan Fox is probably the sexiest Succubus ever! Every man is dreaming of being ‘eaten’ by her lovely mouth. Impatient to get a closer look to Jennifer’s Body.

It’s no wonder that Director Brett Ratner and Scriptwriter Jeff Nathanson have been talking about a fourth Rush Hour film since the box-office success of Rush Hour 3.Ratner has been hinting at a possible release in either 2010 or 2012.
And the film’s producer Arthur Sarkissian once said:
But we have to make sure it stands on its own. And it hinges on how successful ‘Rush Hour 3’ is, for the studio to say we want to make another one.
If we do [Rush Hour 4], I’m strongly thinking about setting it in Moscow.””
More details at: Rush Hour 4 Trailer
So I think there is still hope to seee a Rush Hour 4 movie. But it’s not so sure that Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker would reprise their roles. The two dudes would enjoy working again together, but do not show real interest in a Rush Hour 4 movie. Hence the rumor of Danny DeVito and Jet Li taking over the movie franchise. Which wouldn’t be that bad actually…
Anyway I bet Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker will be involved in Rush Hour 4 one way or another.

Here below a new international poster of A Christmas Carol, an upcoming movie directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Jim Carrey in a multitude of roles:

The movie Christmas Carol will hit theaters on November 6, 2009.

We’re going to get soaked in 2012:

2012 is the latest apocalyptic movie directed by Roland Emmerich. The film is starring John Cusack in the lead role.
