It’s been announced that the third Twilight movie, The Twilight Saga Eclipse, aka Twilight 3, will film from August 17th until October 31st at Vancouver Film Studios.
Director David Slade ( who once brought 30 Days of Night) is in charge of the project which is based on script by Melissa Rosenberg.
Twilight fans are worried about David Slade directing Twilight 3, can’t understand this: ok David Slade knows a lot about Vampire movie but not so sure that he can really seize and understand all the emotions from Stephenie Meyer’s books…
Anyway, Stephenie Meyers and her fans are here to remind him that he has to do a good job with the movie Twilight 3 Eclipse.
:)
Director Steven Soderbergh wants to take a look to the corporate world of the of the late-1980s/early-1990s. The story of his last movie, The Informant, revolves around Mark Whitacre, a former high-ranking ADM executive who turned whistleblower. The film is starring Matt Damon in the lead role. It should be released in October 2009.
If you’re wondering Mark Whitacre really behaved like this in real life, well it seems so: Mark Whitacre was suffering of bipolar disorder, so yes he was kind of nuts… But still, he was yearning for some justice and this guided him to help the FBI.
I think I’m going to enjoy The Informant movie.

Thanks to Russian site Filmz, we may watch below a four-minute clip of Harry Potter 6, aka Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (it’s a bit slow to load, and it’s in German, but well…):
Are you scared by the current swine flu virus that’s spreading all over the world? I am a bit… And Carriers, the upcoming thriller horror movie written and directed by the Pastor brothers, won’t help to calm my fears.
Here’s the first movie poster of Carriers:
(Click on a poster to enlarge it.)
CARRIERS
Avoid populated areas.
If you come into contact with other people assume they have it.
Never touch anything that hasn’t been disinfected.
The sick are clearly dead.
The story of Carriers revolves around four friends (played by Lou Taylor Pucci, Chris Pine, Piper Perabo and Emily VanCamplucky) on the road, running away from a dangerous flu pandemic that turns out to be even worse, it’s a kind of zombie pandemic!
:-/
Here’s an other lighthearted comedy, the movie Spread, starring Ashton Kutcher in the lead role along Anne Heche and Margarita Levieva. But it’s more sex-a-licious than the Invention of Lying: the story of Spread revolves around a serial womanizer and his jilted lover.
Here below the first official trailer of Spread:
SPREAD
Women can’t get enough of him.
And once they take him home
they never want him to leave…
Until he met the one woman… who had him all figured out!
This Summer,
the guy who sleeps his way through life will get the ultimate wwake-up call
Plot:
“Nikki (Ashton Kutcher) isn’t a gigolo. He’s a sexual grifter and a fun-loving, freeloading hipster who understands his greatest assets are his looks and sexual prowess, which he uses to charm his way into the hearts of the city’s richest women while enjoying their lifestyle.
Nikki gets a free place to live, fantastic gifts, “A”-list access and plenty of sex. The women get to feel young, beautiful and utterly fulfilled in the bedroom. It’s a mutually beneficial situation. Nikki’s latest conquest is Samantha (Anne Heche): a stunning middle-aged lawyer who gives him more than he’s ever had before.
But then he meets a gorgeous waitress his own age named Heather (Margarita Levieva). She comes to visit Nikki at Samantha’s house while Samantha is out of town, sees what an incredible place it is and comes to the mistaken conclusion it’s his. Unbeknownst to Nikki, Heather lives by playing the same game.”
The handsome Ashton Kutcher is not a gigolo, but with such a role can but think about the sixteen-year age difference between him and his wife Demi Moore…
;-P
Here below a few preview clips from Director Michael Mann’s Public Enemies movie, the upcoming gangster movie that revolves around the cat-and-mouse game between John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) and FBI Agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale):
War on crime
J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup) introduces Agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) to the press.
Sitting Amongst You
John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) and his gang watch a newsreel about themselves in a movie theater.
Johnny Depp has definitely more charisma than Christian Bale on screen. Must be because Christian Bale’s acting is a bit too cold, and I’m not just talking about his rola in the movi Public Enemies, I mean in general…
Anyway more preview clips of Public Enemies are available: Continue reading »

Comments Off on Michael Mann's Public Enemies Movie
“Studio has hired screenwriter Kyle Ward to write a script for the movie that catches title character, Agent 47, at a low point. He must build himself back up psychologically and physically to reclaim his mantle as the world’s most feared assassin.
The film will contain story elements from “Hitman 5,” the upcoming Eidos video game that will be released in late 2010.”

No word yet if Actor Timothy Olyphant will reprise his role as Agent 47. But I suppose he wouldn’t mind to wear the bald cap again.

Director Mira Nair has tackled the movie adaptation of American Aviation pioneer Amelia Mary Earhart’s life. The film chronicles Earhart’s rise to fame and follows her rocky relationship with her husband George Putnam. Hilary Swank got the lead role as Amelia Earhart and Richard Gere plays the role of Amelia’s husband. The movie Amelia will be released on October 23, 2009. You may watch below the first official movie trailer of Amelia:
Plot:
“A look at the life of legendary American pilot Amelia Earhart, who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 in an attempt to make a flight around the world.”
Aviator Amelia Earhart made history in 1932 by becoming the first woman ever to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Sadly, five years later, as Earhart attempted to fly around the world, the pilot and her plane simply vanished after crashing into the Pacific Ocean…
The real Amelia Aerhart and Actress Hilary Swank look somewhat alike:
Good that they’re making this biopic tracing the life of Amelia Earhart: I’ll bring my daughter to watch the film, it could inspire her!

Here below the first official movie poster of Teh Box, an upcoming thriller movie directed by Richard Kelly and starring Cameron Diaz:

THE BOX
You are the experiment.
Cameron Diaz is facing a really twisted get-rich-quick scheme. Just have to press a button to get filthy rich, that’s the treat, but the trick is kind of creepy: every time this button is pressed some random dude in the world is gonna die…
;-P
Ricky Gervais is back with The Invention of Lying, a sweet comedy that somewhat reverses the premise of Jim Carrey’s Liar Liar. Watch the trailer of the Invention of Lying below:
THE INVENTION OF LYING
Imagine a world where everyone can only tell the truth,
and no-one has ever lied:
No big lies, no small lies, not even white lies…
Until one man discovered how!
Plot:
“The film is set on an alternate Earth where no one has ever lied, and stars Gervais as a performer who tells the world’s first lie, coming to wield its power for personal gain.”
The Invention of Lying looks like a nice lighthearted comedy. I guess I’ll have a good laugh watching it when it hits theaters on September 25, 2009.
