Heartbroken, Delyle makes the spontaneous decision to quit basketball and embark on a mission for his church. His destination: Melbourne, Australia. A city gripped with Olympic fever, Delyle’s first encounters with the Aussies are not encouraging. His passion leads to the formation of the Mormon Yankees basketball team, and in the run up to the Games, fierce competition with the French leads to a bloody rematch, through which Delyle and his Yankees are able to prove their faith – and their mettle – to the world.

Trailer of Desierto starring Gael Garcia Bernal and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Desierto movie - October 2016Check out this brand new trailer of Desierto, the upcoming drama thriller movie starring Gael Garcia Bernal and Jeffrey Dean Morgan:

DESIERTO
Plot synopsis:
“From Jonás Cuarón and Alfonso Cuarón, the acclaimed filmmakers of GRAVITY, comes a unique, modern vision of terror. DESIERTO is a visceral, heart-pounding suspense-thriller packed with tension and suspense from start to finish, starring Gael García Bernal (THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES and Y TU MAMÀ TAMBIÉN) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (WATCHMEN).
What begins as a hopeful journey to seek a better life becomes a harrowing and primal fight for survival when a deranged, rifle-toting vigilante chases a group of unarmed men and women through the treacherous U.S.-Mexican border. In the harsh, unforgiving desert terrain, the odds are stacked firmly against them as they continuously discover there’s nowhere to hide from the unrelenting, merciless killer.”

The film was ready for release long ago, but I think they postponed its release to this October expecting to have some influence over the presidential election: I guess they hope the film will push more Hispanics to go vote on D-day.

Anyway, great film ahead!
