Interstellar Movie

Director Christopher Nolan is currently filming a new science-fiction movie in Alberta, Canada. The film is titled Interstellar. It is starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, TimothĂ©e Chalamet, David Oyelowo, Ellen Burstyn and Michael Caine. Here’s the official plot synopsis of Interstellar:

Plot:
“The film chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.”

I’ve heard that Kip Thorne, one of the world’s leading experts on the astrophysical implications of Einstein’s general theory of relativity, is consulting on the film. Does that mean it’s going to be a hard science-fiction film? Well, since Christopher Nolan is involved I don’t think so… guess it’s just going to be a damn entertaining movie based on some awesome twisted science theory.

Considering the impressive cast, I doubt Interstellar is going to be a space opera, more likely to be a character-driven movie with space travel and possibly time travel for background (we’re speculating here).

The release date of Interstellar is set for November 7, 2014.

Anyway, stay tuned with us for more details about Interstellar.

A few words from Director about Rose:

Kate Winslet looks totally lost on that picture, she’s really into her character. What a great actress!

A few more words from Tom Cruise about the director:

Bourne 5 Movie

Update – Jeremy Renner’s Bourne movie with Justin Lin directing was supposed to be released in July 2016. But Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass then said they were going to make another one and took over the release spot, But don’t worry, Renner’s Bourne movie will happen at another time somewhere in 2020 or 2022.

The Bourne Legacy aka Bourne 4 performed rather well in theaters, so Universal is going ahead with a new installment in the franchise. Scriptwriter Anthony Peckham (who co-wrote the script of Sherlock Holmes and Invictus) has been hired by the studio.

The movie Bourne 5 will focus on Agent Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) the new super-spy who was introduced in the Bourne Legacy. There were earlier plans to bring back Mat Damon on board, but it sounds like the actor is not that exited about returning to the franchise…

Actress Rachel Weisz will likely reprise her role as Dr. Marta Shearing, Aaron Cross’ love interest.

But we don’t know yet whether Tony Gilroy (who wrote and directed Bourne 4) is attached to the project.

Do you have any suggestion regarding the plot of Bourne 5? What’s next for Aaron Cross? Share your thoughts below!

Anyway, stay tuned with us for more information about the movie Bourne 5!

Monster Trucks Movie

Paramount is developing a Monster Trucks movie! The film should mix CGI and live-action settings. They’ve got a $100 million budget. Director Chris Wedge (who helmed Ice Age) has been hired: he will direct the film based on a script by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. They’re eyeing a 2015 release.

For those who don’t know what monster trucks are, well, they’re modified pick-up trucks with extremely large wheels and suspension. A youtube video showing monster trucks doing what they do best:

Monster trucks are big and loud, they’re like giant beasts! They make for great entertainment, don’t they? But let’s hope they won’t be as loud in the movie because my ears could not withstand such noise levels in a movie theater, LoL!

What do you think of Paramount’s plan to develop a movie based on monsters trukcs? Great idea or yet a new low for Hollywood? And what could possibly be the plot of the film? Any idea? Share your thoughts below!

The plot sounds like it could from the creators of Doctor Who or The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy! Well, I’m curious to see how the whole thing will turn out!

The cast:
– Mila Kunis as Jupiter Jones, a janitor who possesses the same perfect genetic makeup as the Queen of the Universe”, and poses a threat to her rule.
