Director Michael Bay revealed yet a new vehicle from Transformers 4 via his official website, take a look below:

Considered a masterpiece of design and engineering, this fierce, 2013 blood red Pagani Huayra, is named after an ancient Andean God of Wind.

Plot:
“Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs.”

Unfortunately he didn’t tell whether the car is a Transformer or not…

For those who don’t know, Pagani is an Italian manufacturer of sports cars. The company was founded in 1992 by the Argentinian Horacio Pagani, and is based in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy.

The release date of Transformers 4 is set for June 27, 2014.

Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura gave an update regarding the live-action Asteroids movie adaptation that was announced a few years back:

“It’s not a disaster movie, yeah, if we’re successful at getting it made. It’s much more of a space opera. It’s like a great sci-fi movie if we get it done right. It is not at all what people think it is. People think, ‘Oh, the asteroid’s gonna hit the earth,’ and I have no interest in doing that. That’s been done exceedingly well before. No, this takes place in an asteroid belt, the whole movie.”

Asteroids, the game the film is claiming to be based on, is a cult arcade game that was first released by Atari in 1979. Here’s what the video game looked back then:

The film is actually the movie adaptation of the same name written by Veronica Roth. It is brought to us by Summit Entertainment, the studio that brought The Twilight Saga to the big screen.

Actress Chloë Grace Moretz has been spotted on the set of Lagies, an ucpoming drama movie directed by Lynn Shelton based on a script by Andrea Siegel:

Plot:
“The story centers on a 28-year-old woman named Megan (Keira Knightley) who is unable to cope with the pressures brought on by her boyfriend (Mark Webber)’s recent marriage proposal. In turn, she escapes into the comfort of adolescence by befriending a group of high schoolers.”

Chloë Grace Moretz plays the role of 16-year-old Annika, Megan’s teen pal.

Do you like Chloe Moretz as a normal teen? Or do you want her to don her Hit-Girl suit asap?

There’s no official release date yet, but I guess the film will hit theaters sometime in 2014.

If the first World War Z movie performs in theaters it may well get a sequel. Here’s what Brad Pitt said when asked about a potential World War Z 2 movie:

“There is enough material to mine from the book for a sequel. We could barely get a fraction of the book in this movie. So we’ll see.”

If there is a sequel, they’re likely to focus on the offensive against the zombies, how our armies and our civilization are transformed by the new world order. But they could also revisit the zombie breakout by focusing on some local event.

Actor William Fichtner, who’s got a real talent for playing twisted baddies, confirmed to the Huffington Post Canada that he will play the role of the villain Shredder in the upcoming reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

An Independence Day 2 movie has been in development since quite long, with Roland Emmerich (who helmed the first film) dropping details about the film every now and then… the project kind of fell in development limbo at some point though. But it sounds like the sequel is back on the front burner: 20th Century Fox has indeed set an official release date for Independence Day 2! The film will hit theaters on July 3, 2015.

Director Roland Emmerich once said that the sequel would be set 20 years after the events of the first film, with a new wave of alien invaders coming to avenge their fallen brothers and sisters.

A first official look at 12 Years A Slave, the upcoming biography drama movie directed by Steve McQueen and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor:

Plot:
“Northup, a black man living (Chiwetel Ejiofor) in New York during the mid-1800s is kidnapped and sold into slavery in the deep south.”

The film is based on the true story of Solomon Northup a black man who was born free in New York state but abducted, sold into slavery and kept in bondage for 12 years in Louisiana before the American Civil War.

Besides Chiwetel Ejiofor, the cast also includes Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Dano, Sarah Paulson, Alfre Woodard, Paul Giamatti, and Lupita Nyong’o.

The release date of 12 Years A Slave is set for December 27, 2013.

We already knew about Sony Pictures’ plan to develop a third Amazing Spider-Man movie. Now it sounds like they’re even more bullish about the rebooted franchise starring Andrew Garfield. Sony Pictures announced indeed the release date of a fourth film besides the release date of the third one:

The release date of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is set for June 10, 2016.

And The Amazing Spider-Man 4 will open in theaters on May 4, 2018.

The new sequels are officially confirmed then! Hurray! But let’s hope that The Amazing Spider-Man won’t disappoint…

Here’s a first look at Actress Elizabeth Olsen and Actor Oscar Isaac in the movie Therese, the upcoming period drama movie directed by Charlie Stratton and based on the 1867 novel Therese Raquin by French writer Emile Zola:

You may remember Actor Tom Felton for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie franchise. I guess he will cast a curse on his unfaithful wife Therese and the homewrecker Laurent… LoL!

Alvin and the Chipmunks manage to escape from that lost island in the third installment of their popular movie franchise. And they’re now planning a comeback on the scene. Yep, we may expect new film featuring the singing squirrels!

Fox has indeed set an official release date for Alvin and the Chipmunks 4: the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 11, 2015. The third film grossed more than $340 million worldwide for a $80 million budget, no wonder then that they greenlit a new installment.

Let’s hope that the chipettes will be back in the fourth film. unfortunately there’s no official plot synopsis yet.

Arnold Schwarzenegger just confirmed that he will be part of the upcoming Terminator 5 movie, he also revealed filming sshould start in January 2014:

Back in January 2013 it was announced that Laeta Kalogridis (who wrote the script of Shutter Island, and co-wrote the script of Avatar) and Patrick Lussier (the scriptwriter of My Bloody Valentine, and Drive Angry) have been hired by Annapurna Pictures and Skydance Production to pen a script for Terminator 5.

Well sounds like the movie Terminator 5 is definitely going to happen.

GI Joe 2 Retaliation did rather well in theaters: the film already grossed more than $365 million worldwide for a production budget at $130 million hence making a hefty profit. And it’s a franchise with a huge appeal. So I guess you aren’t surprised to hear that Paramount Pictures and MGM are planning a third movie. There’s going to be a GI Joe 3 movie indeed. Director John M. Chu who helmed GI Joe 2 will be back to helm the new installment.

The plot hasn’t been revealed yet. Actually, the studios haven’t even hired a scriptwriter yet. But for sure Cobra Cobra Commander will be once again scheming to dominate the world and Actor Dwayne Johnson, Ray Park and Byung-hun Lee will likely reprise their roles. There’s word of the Baroness (played by Sienna Miller in the first film) coming back for GI joe 3. Would Actress Sienna Miller reprise her role?

Now that Storm Shadow is at odds with Cobra, will he join Snake Eyes and the GI Joes? Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow would make a hell of a great team!
