The Rover is an upcoming crime drama movie directed by David Michod and based on a script he co-wrote with Joel Edgerton. The film is starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson. There’s no official release date yet.

Plot:
“The Rover is set in the Australian desert in a dangerous and dysfunctional near future. Eric (Guy Pearce) has left everything and every semblance of human kindness behind him. When his last possession, his car, is stolen by a gang of dangerous criminals, Eric sets off to track them down and is forced along the way to enlist the help of Reynolds (Robert Pattinson), the naive member of the gang left behind in the bloody chaos of the gang’s most recent escape.”

According to Shock Till You Drop we may expect Screen Gems to develop yet another Resident Evil movie with Actress Milla Jovovich in the lead role as Expert zombie slayer Alice. There’s even a release date: the movie Resident Evil 6 is set to hit theaters on September 12, 2014. So they will most likely start shooting before the end of this year.

In previous interviews both Director Paul W. Anderson and Actress Milla Jovovich claimed that if there was a sixth installment it would be the last of the series.

No word about the plot. But let’s go back to the final scene of Resident Evil 5:

Wesker gave back all her superhuman powers to Alice, they’re stuck in the White House, the last redoubt of Mankind in the final apocalypse, zombies and other mutant monsters are all around. Will Alice and Wesker ally to save Mankind then? They would make a hell of a team for sure.

Do you know Ben 10? For those who don’t, it’s an American animated TV series from Cartoon Network about Ben Tennyson, a 10-year-old boy who stumbled upon a watch-like alien device called the Omnitrix that allows him to turn into ten alien creatures, and who fights crime and evil aliens with his new power.

Well, Producer Joel Silver (the producer of the unfortunate live-action movie adaptation of Speed Racer) is attached to a live-action movie adaptation of the series. And Scriptwriter Ryan Engle is now attached to the project. There’s no official release date yet.

Director Matt Reeves is set to start filming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the movie sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, this Spring. And new plot details have leaked online.

According to the online rumor, the sequel takes place 15 years after the events in the first film. The story should revolve around a group of human scientists who are struggling to survive alone in San Francisco. And the it will also shows how the ultra-intelligent ape Caesar (played by Andy Serkis) tries to maintain dominance over his simian kingdom.
