Director Christopher Nolan explains why the movie Dark Knight Rises, aka Batman 3, won’t be in 3D:
The first official pictures of Captain America have shown up:
Sweet Pictures! Not only we get to see Chris Evans as Captain America but also Hugo Weaving who’s playing Red Skull!

There’s a new Step Up movie sequel ahead of us. Summit Entertainment is quite satisfied with the success of Step Up 3D and they’re even advertising about it on Variety’s site. And there’s a hot nugget in their ad: they reveal that they’re planning to release a new Step Up movie in 2012, and it will be titled Step Up 4Ever. Here’s the ad we’re talking about (which only points to Summit Entertainment’s site):
Summit Entertainment commemorates the success of STEP UP 3D
and looks forward to doing it again in 2012 with STEP UP 4EVER in 3D
But I wouldn’t be surprised if the next movie was to focus on a crew of American dancers vying for the world title in an international competition. Would be really great: Moose and his crew would have to battle against crew from other countries (with new music and new dance styles). But that’s just speculation for now. What do you think? Any suggestion for Step Up 4 Ever?

Director Christopher Nolan revealed to Hero Complex that the next Batman movie will be titled The Dark Knight Rises. He also ruled out the Riddler and Mr Freeze as villains.
Batman 3, er I mean the Dark Knight Rises movie should start filming in March 2011.

Fox just announced that James cameron’s next movies will be Avatar 2 and Avatar 3. The first Avatar sequel is slated for a release in December 2014, and Avatar 3 should be released in December 2015 release. With the first Avatar movie James Cameron only scratched the surface of the stories he wanted to tell and the creatures and world he wanted to create. So now he will continue to expand his vision with Avatar 2 and Avatar 3.
From what I heard Avatar 2 will explore the interior of Pandora (and possibly its oceans) and the story may bring us to Pandora’s neighboring moons.

Scriptwriter Marc Guggenheim, who’s co-writing the upcoming Flash movie with Greg Berlanti and Michael Green, confirmed the film will likely focus on Barry Allen:
What actor would you recommend for the role? Matthew Fox, Bradley Cooper or else?

There’s a new movie adaptation of movie adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax in the works. The film is co-directed by Chris Renaud, Cinco Paul, and Ken Daurio. Here’s a first look at the Lorax (who will be voiced by Danny DeVito):
Let’s hope that the environmental message of teh film will reach not only the kids, but also their parents.
:)
Scriptwriter Laeta Kalogridis has been hired by James Cameron to re-write the script of a 3D remake of Fantastic Voyage. James Cameron won’t directing, he’s attached as producer and seems determined to carry out the project. He’s been hinting at Louis Letterier as possible director for the film.
Plot:
“Fantastic Voyage centers on a team of scientists who are shrunk to atomic size and sent in a miniature submarine inside the body of a scientist to save his life.”
Some scenes of the original movie were kind of psychedelic, so expect people to get high if they reproduce those scenes in 3D in the new Fantastic Voyage movie!
;-P
