Tamara Drewe is an upcoming comedy movie directed by Stephen Frears and starring Gemma Arterton, Dominic Cooper, Roger Allam, Luke Evans, Bill Camp, and Tamsin Greig . The film is based on Posy Simmonds’ acclaimed graphic novel. There’s no official release date yet.
Here’s a first look at Gemma Arterton as Tamara Drewe:
“Drewe, a sexy flirt, returns to her small country village and stirs up dark passions among the locals.”
Gemma Arterton looks damn gorgeous on this photo! I cant’ miss the movie Tamara Drewe!

Josh Brolin Jonah Hex
Warner Bros has released this new picture of Jonah Hex:
“Having cheated death, gunslinger and bounty hunter Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) has one foot in the natural world and one in the supernatural realm. Jonah’s unusual nature gives him the ability to track down anyone, or anything, so the Army makes him an irresistible offer: They’ll erase the warrants on his head if Jonah will find Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich). But Turnbull, who is preparing to unleash hell on Earth, is Jonah’s oldest enemy and will stop at nothing to kill him once and for all.”
Heard that the first official movie trailer of Jonah Hex will be shown in front of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Robin Hood 2 Movie
It may sound premature to talk about a movie sequel to Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood, the movie hasn’t even premiered yet after all. But it looks like there could be a movie sequel to this new Robin Hood movie. Director Ridley Scott said indeed that the first film is actually an origin story and that Robin Hood 2 is quite possible:
Let’s say we might presume there’s a sequel.”
I guess Russell Crowe wouldn’t mind to reprise his role in Robin Hood 2, so if the first film performs well, we may definitely expect a sequel.

Hanna Movie
Hanna is an upcoming thriller movie directed by Joe Wright and starring Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, and Cate Blanchett. The film will be released in 2011.
Here’s a first look at Cate Blanchett and Eric Bana in the movie Hanna:
Plot:
“Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) is a teenage girl. Uniquely, she has the strength, the stamina, and the smarts of a solider; these come from being raised by her father (Eric Bana), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland. Living a life unlike any other teenager, her upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one; sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own (Cate Blanchett). As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.”
Hard to think about Saoirse Ronan as a killing machine, but I think she’ll do young: she’s young actress, but already have a long career and is definitely talented. I wait with impatience for more material from the movie Hanna!

George Clooney The American
A new picture of George Clooney as a hitman in The American, an upcoming thriller movie directed by Anton Corbijn:
“An assassin hides out in Italy for one last assignment.”
George Clooney reminds me of Sean Connery’s James Bond! They should ditch Danie Craig (who could well be Putin’s twin) and hire Clooney instead!

Adjustment Bureau Movie
The Adjustment Bureau is an upcoming sci-fi thriller movie based on Philip K. Dick’s science-fiction short story ‘The Adjustment Team’. The film is directed by George Nolfi. and starring Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Anthony Mackie, John Slattery, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly and Terence Stamp. It is set for a release on July 30, 2010.
Update, we now have the trailer of the Adjustment Bureau:
Here below a first official look at Matt Damon and Emily Blunt in the Adjustment Bureau movie:
“Matt Damon will play David Norris, a charismatic congressman who seems destined for national political stardom and a Fordham University alumnus who was a basketball player while he was there. He meets a beautiful ballet dancer named Elise Sellas, played by Blunt, only to find strange circumstances keeping their sparks from catching fire. Norris discovers forces are at work to keep them apart, and he peels the layers to find out why. The action takes place in various places in Manhattan.”
Judging from the premise, I guess we won’t have that many flabbergasting special effects in this sci-fi movie… But a twisted plot may save the day!

The Furian… left for dead..”
This concept art seems to confirm what Vin Diesel previously announced on his Facebook wall regarding the plot of Riddick 3:
