Disney Pixar is preparing the production of Cars 2, the movie sequel to the 3D animated movie Cars. The full title of this new Cars movie would be Cars 2 World Grand Prix. It is scheduled for a release on June 24, 2011.

“Lightning McQueen, his pit team and new pit boss Mater head around the world for the ‘Race of Champions’, taking place in five different countries: Tokyo, Germany, Italy, a 24-hour race in France and London. I hope we will see a few electric cars in the movie Cars 2: gas that’s too much 20th century, time to make place for the future!

Iron Man 2’s principal photography wrapped 2 months ago and they’re now working hard on special effects, editing and cutting here and there to deliver the best Iron Man 2 movie possible next year. The promotion will slowly ramp up to prepare us for the final release of Iron Man 2. But meanwhile here’s a new international promo poster of Iron Man 2:

In Iron Man 2, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is kind of depressed: the superhero status isn’t as fun as he thought it would be… He’s not anymore at the center of Pepper Pott’s life (Gwyneth Paltrow) who is now intimate with some Federal agent. And even worse: a new villain, Whiplash, got an armor similar to Iron Man’s! But it won’t be all gloom for Tony: he will get to know the beautiful Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson).
