Fright Night – You got a lot on your shoulders for a kid.
“Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all going on: he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the most coveted girl in his high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend. But trouble arrives when Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—but everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice. Colin Farrell is awesome as vampire, definitely want to see more!

That’s Awesome! Luke Cage Trailer
Isaiah Mustafa, the pitchman from that funny ad for Old Spice, is yearning to play the role of the black superhero Luke Cage in a movie. So he created (with official help?) a “fake” trailer to woo the studios:
Isaiah Mustafa is LUKE CAGE
What do you think of Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Cage?
Our Facebook follower Kevin came up with this funny parody:
Here’s the original old spice commercial: Continue reading »

Those new action-packed preview clips of X-men First Class make my day:
X-Men First Class – Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) and his cohorts attack.
X-Men First Class – Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) stops missiles in midair.

“Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men working together with other Mutants to prevent nuclear Armageddon.”

Steve Carell’s Crazy Stupid Love
A brand new TV spot for Crazy Stupid Love, the upcoming comedy movie starring Steve Carell:
CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE
At any age, in every generation love can make you crazy.
“Crazy Stupid Love is an ensemble comedy centering around a father (Steve Carell), his adulteress wife (Julianne Moore), his new wingman (Ryan Gosling), and what happens when he attempts to put his unraveled life back together.”
As long as you don’t get psycho because of love it’s a good thing that spices up life.
Besides Steve Carell, the cast also includes Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, John Carroll Lynch, Marisa Tomei, Kevin Bacon, Jonah Bobo, Analeigh Tipton, Josh Groban, Liza Lapira amnd, Joey King. The film will hit theaters on July 29, 2011.

Kevin James’ Zookeeper TV Spot
Nature’s biggest secret will be unlocked in the Zookeeper, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Frank Coraci and starring Kevin James:
“The animals at one particular zoo decide to break their code of silence in order to help their lovable zookeeper gain the attention of one particular woman.”
Animals can definitely talk! You just need to to be open-minded and to listen carefully. Not sure plants talk though, they probably listen, but don’t expect them to talk back to you any soon.
The Zookeeper movie will be released on July 8, 2011.

Trailer of One Day starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess
We’ve got our hands on the UK trailer of One Day, the upcoming romantic drama movie directed by Lone Scherfig and starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess that’s set to open in theaters on August 19, 2011:
“After one day together – July 15th, 1988, their college graduation – Emma Morley (Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway) and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess of Across the Universe) begin a friendship that will last a lifetime. She is a working-class girl of principle and ambition who dreams of making the world a better place. He is a wealthy charmer who dreams that the world will be his playground.
For the next two decades, key moments of their relationship are experienced over several July 15ths in their lives. Together and apart, we see Dex and Em through their friendship and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears. Somewhere along their journey, these two people realize that what they are searching and hoping for has been there for them all along. As the true meaning of that one day back in 1988 is revealed, they come to terms with the nature of love and life itself.”
Haven’t read the book (written by David Nicholls) the film is based on. So I don’t know if there’s a happy end to this story. I hope so though! Because there’s no denying that Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess make a lovely couple on screen: let them love each other for God’s sake!

Larry Crowne Trailer
Oscar winners Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts reunite for a dramatic comedy about how the hard knocks from today’s recession inspire one everyday guy to undergo a personal reinvention: Larry Crowne. Watch below a new international movie trailer of Larry Crowne:
LARRY CROWNE
“Until he was downsized, affable, amiable Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks) was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he’s worked since his time in the Navy. Underwater on his mortgage and unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over. There he becomes part of a colorful community of outcasts all trying to find a better future for themselves… often moving around town in a herd of scooters. In his public-speaking class, Larry develops an unexpected crush on his teacher Mercedes Tainot (Julia Roberts), who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband.
The simple guy who has every reason to think his life has stalled will come to learn an unexpected lesson: when you think everything worth having has passed you by, you just might discover your reason to live.”
I have profound respect and admiration for those people who, after years in the corporate world, decide to go back to school. It’s not that easy to get back to study: it requires commitment and a strong will. Do you think you could go back to school to learn a new trade if you had to?
Besides Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, the movie Larry Crowne is also starring Bryan Cranston, Cedric the Entertainer and Taraji P. Henson. The film will open in theaters on July 1, 2011.

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark is an upcoming horror movie directed by Troy Nixey based on a script co-written by Guillermo del Toro (who’s also producing). Here’s the latest movie trailer of Don’t be afraid of the Dark:
“Introverted Sally Hurst has just moved in with her father Alex and his girlfriend Kim when she realizes that their sprawling estate holds its fair share of secrets. Ascending to the depths of the house, Sally gains access to a secret lower level that has lain undisturbed for nearly a century, when the original builder vanished without a trace. When Sally accidentally opens the gateway that kept the creatures locked up tight, she realizes that in order to prevent them from destroying her family is to convince her skeptical father than monsters really exist.”
