“Basically, the Fallen is to them [Transformers and Decepticons] what cavemen, Neanderthals were to us. He’s the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. He’s the first version of this sentient being. That’s what he is. He’s the origins of what they came from.”
Shia Labeouf
The Fallen is maybe old, but he is far from being outdated: he’s no threat to ignore…
:)
Can understand why Mikaela (Megan Fox) is scared: those mechanical beasts are damn dangerous! But lucky her, Sam (Shia LAbeouf) is here to save the day!

The Eiffel tower is eaten by some goo and collapses: I guess the French would be quite pissed off to see their national symbol destroyed. But hey, even the Statue of Liberty was beheaded in Cloverfield, so can’t say that Hollywood plays by double standard.
And here the release date of GI Joe The Rise of Cobra: August 7, 2009.
;-P
You may watch this New Moon trailer online here: at the stroke of 9pm EST on Sunday the Twilight 2 widget above will turn into a video of the MTV movie awards so you may watch the trailer live! Not sure it will work for international viewers though but don’t worry, the trailer will be available online shortly after for Twilight fans from all over the world to enjoy it.
There is some common wisdom in Wathever Works, Woody Allen’s latest movie which is starring Larry David in the main role. I can but agree with Larry David stating that you can’t trust people when it’s question of public toilet… just watch this funny clip you’ll understand:
I’d rather see Pixar working on new things rather than artificially extending old creations… But well, making the movie Toy Story 3 must be easy money for them. Let’s hope they will use the cash generated by Toy Story 3 to launch an other amazing and brand new project later on!

A clip of GI Joe The RIse of Cobra is going to be shown during the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. Watch below a not-so tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come:
Those suits the GI Joe are wearing were looking badasss in the previous trailers of GI Joe, but I see them in action it does not feel right… It kind of looks like some 3D stuffs from 10 years ago…
Well, I’ll still go watch GI Joe, but those suits are going to be a real eyesore…

500 millions miles from Earth
60 000 passengers have vanished
Fear the unknown
Fear the unimaginable
Fear what happens next!
Plot:
“Two crew members wake up on an abandoned spacecraft with no idea who they are, how long they’ve been asleep, or what their mission is. The two soon discover they’re actually not alone — and the reality of their situation is more horrifying than they could have imagined.”
A dark spaceship lobby is always an interesting background on which to show poor humans striving to stay alive!
The movie Pandorum will hit theaters on September 4, 2009.

We just stumbled upon the trailer of Mr. Nobody via Quiet Earth (here). Mr. Nobody is a sci fi movie written and directed by Belgian Director Jaco Van Dormael and starring Jared Leto in the lead role. There is no denying that this trailer caught my attention: there is a feel of Donnie Darko or of the Butterfly Effect with something more that makes the movie even more strangely appealing.
Plot:
“Nemo Nobody leads an ordinary existence at his wife’s side, Elise, and their 3 children until the day when reality skids and he wakes up as an old man in the year 2092. At 120, Mr. Nobody is both the oldest man in the world and the last mortal of a new mankind where nobody dies anymore. But that doesn’t seem to interest or bother him very much. The only questions that preoccupy him in the present is whether he lived the right life for himself, loved the woman whom he was supposed to love, and had the children whom he was meant to have… now his purpose is to find the right answer.”
The best science fiction stories always have an excuse to digg into human emotions and to show what may people tick, that’s what make them so great. And I believe that Mr Nobody is one of those great sci-fi movies!
The movie will be released on October 9, 2009 in Belgium, but no US release for lack of distributor. Hope that a US distributor will pick it up soon.

A new preview clip of Land of the Lost, upcoming movie starring Will Ferrell and based on the TV show of the same name from the 1970s, has shown up online:
Plot:
“On his latest expedition, Dr. Rick Marshall (Ferrell) is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant (Friel) and a redneck survivalist (McBride). In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka (Taccone), their only ally in a world full of dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures. Can they all make it back to our world alive, and if so: Will Dr. Marshall can go from zero to hero with his discoveries?”
One may dislike Will Ferrell’s slapstick humor but should still give a try to Land of the Lost: a movie mixing science-fiction, comedy and adventure can’t be that bad!
;-P
Plot:
“Michael Myers (Tyler Mane) returns to his home town of Haddonfield, bringing death in his wake, to bring closure to the secrets of his past. An unlikely individual steps up to put an end to Michael.”
The movie Halloween 2 is going to be quite realistic and rather violent.
