The movie trailer of Youth in Revolt is out since a few days and I wasn’t in a hurry to watch it. But I’m actually positively surprised: this Youth in Revolt trailer promises a great comedy movie!

YOUTH IN REVOLT
Plot:
“This is the coming to age story of a boy– Nick Twisp (Michael Cera)– who is a cynical 16-year-old who transforms from a normal teenager into a youth in open revolt to attempt to win the heart of Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday). Nick Twisp takes on innumerable tasks that cause his uncaring parents to worry. Whilst on his way to ecstasy Twisp gets himself in several incidences that include helping his friend disappear to make a girl realize she likes him, burning down berkley, disappearing to India, and going undercover to hide from the FBI. This all with the intent to gain his darling Sheeni Suanders approval, and gain a sexual relationship with her, while she does almost everything under the sun to make his attempts fail. In the end they find even terms where they almost can live happily ever after.”

The movie Youth in Revolt is directed by Miguel Arteta and is starring Michael Cera, Steve Buscemi, Ray Liotta, Justin Long, Jean Smart, Ari Graynor, Fred Willard, Zach Galifianakis. The film is set to hit theaters on October 30, 2009 in the USA.

I really enjoy the part with the featured zombie Steve Barton: the big guy is talking like a kid about playing as a zombie in a movie directed by George Romero.

The movie is taking place on an island, so it’s probably local zombies we saw in this featurette of Survival of the Dead, because I don’t think zombies can swim…

The movie Inception is directed by Christopher Nolan (who brought us the Dark knight). And it can boast an impressive cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon Levitt. I’m damned impatient to watch the movie Inception. This bootleg trailer of Inception is so mysterious.

Director Werner Herzog has been working on the movie Bad Lieutenant, a remake of Abel Ferrara’s 1992 cult film. Well Herzog’s remake is actually titled ‘Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans’. The film is starring Nicolas Cage, Val Kilmer, Xzibit and Eva Mendes. No official US release date yet.

This Bad Lieutenant movie looks awesome: it’s a well balanced mix of action and dark humor! And Nicolas Cage’s insane performance is definitely worth watching!
